Relief after first use. Wasn’t expecting it to work so well for such a low price.
Works better than I expected especially for the price. A lot of times when I actually go get a massage, I prefer them to focus on my shoulders. This little device eliminates my need to go get a massage every week. I get really bad knots in my right shoulder and this helped get the knot out after the first use.I like how I can put my arms in the straps and still get work done on my computer. The way it’s designed also allows for me to have more control without putting my arm in an awkward position to reach certain areas. It’s pretty comfortable too when I lean my head back on the actual pillow/support cushion.I recommend this for anyone looking for a really effective shoulder massager. I read reviews before purchasing it and immediately turn the heat setting off because other reviews mentioned it being an issue over time. The heat comes on by default each time you power it on so you’d have to turn it off if you don’t want the heat. I haven’t used that feature so I can’t review that part. I also haven’t tried using the car adapter that is included. Seems like it’ll be great for long road trips which I go on often or when I’m sitting in Los Angeles traffic.The quality of the material is good too. I honestly wasn’t expecting such a good device for half the price of other similar ones that I looked at but this works. I’ve only have it for a few days though so I’m reviewing the effectiveness of the actual unit on the shoulder knots.I’ll have to post a future review if I ever have any feedback with regard to the life of the device and if anything eventually falls apart.

Wonderful after trial and error
I purchased this to help ease tension in my shoulders and back. At my first use it was kind of painful but after trying different positions I found it to be really effective. It kneads deeply enough that it does the job nicely. The one problem I had that I haven’t found a solution for is that due to the location where the cord connects to the device, the cord tends to fall out, which interrupts the massage. It would be great if there was a clasp to hold the cord in place when in use. I comes with a car adapter but I don’t use it.

We love it! Product arrived early, well-packaged, and as-pictured. I was soooo dubious about ordering one of these – sight unseen. Case in point: I (re)discovered a Shiatsu foot massager in the bottom corner of a closet the other day while looking for something else. Need I say more? Well, let me tell you…this thing is a Godsend! I primarily purchased this for my wife’s neck and back pain. It arrived yesterday and my wife had me try it first…so I did, and WOW! I was amazed at how it released the pain and tension in my spasming back. My wife, now assured of her safety (LOL) tried it next and she was amazed at how well it worked. She kept saying how it felt like a “real” massage. Other reviewers are correct, the heat is just enough to be soothing, not too much, nor too little. We found that while sitting in a chair, we were able to make it go wherever we wanted it to easily. The product seems well-proportioned for both of us and is comfortable to use. The design is simple, Spartan even, yet efficient; just what is needed, nothing more, nothing less. I did notice that the three control buttons position, up high on the left as pictured, were hard to reach while in use, but I didn’t find this to be bothersome at all. I turned it on, used it until it timed-out, hit the “on” button one more time, and that was it. I tried the “change rotation direction” a couple of times and found it easier if I repositioned the massager to reach the button, which wasn’t a problem for either of us. By the way, our massager’s default setting appears to be “heat on”, which we prefer. We also noticed, that you have a LOT of control over how much or how little pressure you want to exert while massaging, and we discovered that it was also pretty easy to direct it to where you wanted it. The construction seems sturdy, yet soft, and not clunky at all, as I was concerned it might be. After last night’s massage, both of our backs feel much better today, so, as they say, the proof is in the pudding! Only time will tell regarding its longevity and reliability. That being said, if it only lasted six months, we both remarked that we would consider it a bargain at less than thirty-seven bucks! Nirvana for two? For less than forty bucks? You can’t go wrong here folks!
