Best purchase for our beloved dog ever!
Ordered one for our springer Ari for his nightstand sleeps and he loved it so much! It’s cozy warm and comforting! He slept all night even a few snores! Doggie loves it
My dog has issues with loud noises in her old age. Got this to help with anxiety by giving lite pressure like a gentle hug. She loves laying next to me and having this over her.Caution because it retains their body heat so be careful during warm months. I would not recommend for small animals that don’t have enough strength to crawl out from underneath it.Works great for people too that have restless legs and need a little bit of pressure to calm them.Great quality and stitching, fuzzy soft and cool pattern.

Comfort for a dog with neurological issues
I’m not sure how many others have bought this for a dog who had a major seizure which created many neurological problems but I’m here to help you choose this blanket! We didn’t expect he would live long but the more quality of life we provided for him the better he felt, and he is still going strong a year later. This blanket is a part of his life long recovery. He feels such comfort under the weight of this blanket, I can put it on top of him and it seems like all his pain and anxiety just melts away. The weight of the blanket is perfect for him, he is a Maltese, very thin, unable to eat very much, but this blanket works perfectly for him. It appears to be extremely durable as well, because of his issues he is drooling all day, all night, and this blanket is like brand new when it comes out of the wash. It’s extremely heart warming to see him get such relief from the smallest things we are able to provide him, I love this blanket and would recommend it from just basic comfort, to anxiety, to full on neurological conditions.

If it was machine washable, it would get an extra star
This is the perfect blanket (size and weight) for my 40lb. senior, congenitally-deaf rescue dog who is quite anxious and reactive.As she had some Siberian Husky and Great Pyrenees in her lineage, we found that she settles down in the evenings well with a damp microfiber towel and portable fan.However, living in the chilly Northwoods, this doesn’t work so well when the temperatures drop.She loves the weight and snuggliness of this blanket for settling down in the late afternoon/evening.I did dock the blanket a star because cold hand washing and line drying means having the blanket out of commission for a couple of days each week (and I’d really prefer to not add another blanket into storage just for rotation purposes).

I love it and so does my dog
I can’t believe how much my dog loves her blanket. As soon as I put it on her, she relaxes!To describe the blanket, it’s well made. Thick, heavy enough for the medium size requested. Beautiful design and stitching. My dog can’t tear it apart with a few scratches. The material is.soft enough for my doggie to snuggle up to, she literally rubs her face on it. If you have a dog who can’t be alone or has separation anxiety, it’s worth the buy.

My pit mix hates fireworks and gets very nervous around New Years and Independence Day. Since she sleeps under a blanket I decided to try the weighted blanket and she loves it. It keeps her warm and provides additional comfort. It is very thick so it holds warmth. You can just toss it in the washing machine and let it air dry (as suggested in the instructions). Mine was dry by end of day. The size is perfect for a 50 lb dog and I’d still in great shape after several washes.

Soft, feels like a good quality thick blanket for a good price. Dog loves it and enjoys sleeping under it as it is nice and cozy. I got the 2lbs for my dog who is 10lbs, dog doesn’t really have trouble getting out of the blanket but struggles if he tries to get up right away. So if your dog weights any less you may want to find one that is about 20-25% or less of its body weight.

This is the cutest little weighted black for dogs, and my pup absolutely loves it! She falls asleep under it right away. The only downside is that the color doesn’t match what was shown in the description/image. It’s a peachier/coral color…but…still give it 5 stars.

So my 65lb lap dog loses her mind with fireworks and thunder. Like I’m talking shaking the bed/couch because she is shivering and panting so much and just cannot calm her down. We’ve tried drugs which do little and so I tried this blanket and while I won’t say it stopped the anxiety completely it has helped. She comes and lays next to me and I put it on and the combo of me just holding her paw and the weight of the blanket seem to ease the anxiety by at least half which is a lot!
