Great for Halloween
We bought this to go inside a jack o’ lantern Halloween evening for something new. We filled it with plain water (essential oils? How about snake oil you silly suburbanites) and had cut the hole in the bottom of the pumpkin large enough to set the pumpkin over the diffuser. The changing colors of the diffuser looked great and after the unit got running well the mist came out of the eyes nose and mouth to nice effect. We’ll use the unit once a year from now on.

It would probably be just fine for a child or nursery. Half the colors are not bad, the other half seem harsh.As for scents lasting, they only seem to last 2 hours. Or one use and then not the subsequent use. And I have tried with 2 different brands.I dislike that the max fill line is just a sticker. That can fall or water damage and then I wouldn’t know the max fill!I don’t know if the scent fills the room. I keep it near a fan, and it sucks the mist up and blows it directly at me.There is some sort of ‘thing’ in the reservoir. Mine showed up loose and was just floating in the reservoir. That didn’t make sense. So after looking at other reviews, one picture showed the thing attached to the spout. So I have done that. Not sure if it made a difference.The singular button function was confusing to me, even with the manual. Plug it in, it flashes the unit some colors. Hold and press, turns on just the light. Hold and press again during a favorite color, sets that color. Single press, rotates thru the time settings til off.Starting from the plugged in and off position, a single press turns on light and vapors. Press and hold will set the color. Press and hold again will turn off the light but keep the vapors. This is how I use it. And single presses will rotate thru the timer settings.I really like that the power cord also came with the charging block. That is very useful.It is a decent unit, and I use it. But some things just don’t meet the mark for me.

Effective mist and attractive
Powerful and pretty easy to use! The color changing features confused me a bit but I think I’ve got it figured out. This puts out about 3/4 as strong as my Young Living diffuser and at a much nicer price! I did buy this to use with a power bank which used up way too much energy. Not worth that route but I love the multiple plug options

Pretty colors but no instructions on how much oil to use
The GOYOUTON Essential Oil Diffuser (200ml) is advertised as an aromatherapy diffuser and yet no information is included as to how many drops of essential oils should be used.This is a my first diffuser so I had to research it on my own and I found a blog that says that for 200 ml, you should use 6 to 10 drops. So I did, mixed with distilled wate up to the fill line . I set it on the dresser across from my bed and let it run for an hour and while the colors are pretty, I suppose, I never was able to smell anything. So I guess use more than 10 drops?It looks like wood in the listing photo but it’s all plastic. It is quite silent.To those people saying that you can’t stop the colors from changing, maybe if you bothered reading the directions, you’d have realized that they say to do a long press again, after the diffuser has been turned on, to lock in the color. So wait until it displays the color you want and do a long press.

Our water heater ruptured & I found myself in 3 inches of water before I noticed it. After the cleanup, the stagnant water smell has been overpowering. I bought a diffuser for every room & this one works so well.

Works great, totally silent and easy to operate
I remember when these devices were just coming out many years ago, and I paid close to 80 dollars for my first one. This 16-dollar one works exactly the same at a much more affordable price!Set up and operation are quick and easy. The “fill-line” sticker on the inside of mine was placed diagonally, so I fill it to about the middle of the line, haven’t had any issues with it leaking.The inner lid sets into place easily (though it’s not on there securely, like if the unit tips over, this lid is not going to stay in place and prevent spills), and the outer lid requires a little effort to get set into place and not have a gap.Overall, it’s not difficult to open and close the unit to refill it.Once on, it flows steadily and effectively adds vaporized water and scent to the room. It runs silently.The light cycles through the rainbow in a pleasant manner, it’s soft without glare, and soothing.The auto-shutoff works great at turning the unit off once the water level is too low to safely continue, and keeps the unit from running dry and breaking.Overall, it’s great for the price, pleasant to look at, silent, operates efficiently, and does what it’s promised to do. The only “flaw” I can report is the crooked placement of the water level sticker, which really isn’t a big deal since the unit runs like it is supposed to. Overall, definitely recommend and I also think this would make a great gift.
