DIFFUSER’S PERFORMANCE DECLINES OVER TIME! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
THIS IS AN UPDATE FROM A PREVIOUS REVIEW!Magic Scent customer service has responded to my emails. After suggesting I clean and run alcohol through my diffuser for 10 minutes, which I have done several times, with no improvement. Little scent comes out of diffuser and it still leaks at bottom. They now suggest I send it back to them for further evaluation and possible repair per my warranty. The warranty expired 2 months prior. I asked them you are asking me to send it to Magic Scent in Fla. to and from plus at my expense pay for the repairs too? They have not responded after 3 days. This product has poor reliability and customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DIFFUSER FROM MAGIC SCENT!I purchased this Magic Scent Diffuser Aug’ 2024. For the first 9 months it worked great. My condo was filled with the pleasant scent that it was purchased for. Then over the next several months I noticed a steady decline in performance. I clean it on a regular basis. When I reached out to customer service, they suggested a thorough cleaning with alcohol, which had already been performed prior. So I cleaned it again. Now very little scent comes out of this diffuser and it is leaking oil at the bottom. I reached out again to Magic Scent customer service again this time with NO REPLY back from them. I understand it is barely out of warranty, however I expected more out of this product and more from customer service.P

***REVIEW AFTER 11 MONTHS***
I’ve had the Magic Scent diffuser for 11mo now and it’s working like a charm. I LOVE this machine. I live in pre-WW2 bldg in NYC and I do not have an HVAC system, so the unit is free standing. The machine covers my 2bdr 1100sqft apt effortlessly!!! There is a small amount of leakage, but it’s within the unit and very minimal. The sound is pretty quiet. My refrigerator is louder than the Magic Scent diffuser. I have a dog and this device completely eliminates dog odor. Coming home to a wonderful smelling home is amazing. I highly recommend this device and company. You won’t be disappointed!!

Distributes amazing scent through out your home
I have a medium size one story home, and this scent diffuser brings amazing scent through out my whole home. There is an option to hook it up to you central air unit, but I use it as a stand alone so I always have easy access to it. I set the timer for the day and it does its thing through out. My only issue is trying to figure out the settings, little challenging. So I usually end up unplugging it when I think the scent has gotten too strong. But it is great quality, and blends in the background of the home.

Buyer beware! I will start by saying I really liked this diffuser at first. Liked it so much that I purchased another. Really had no issues other than some oil leakage inside. Fast forward 11 months from my first purchase and the machine starts spewing black oil out of the top. Fortunately I purchased the protection plan. Filed a claim and got reimbursed the purchase price. Not 3 weeks later and the second diffuser is doing the exact same thing! This can not be a coincidence. I filed a claim on the protection plan I purchased for that product and this is where the headache begins. They don’t want to cover it because the diffuser still has a manufacturer warranty. What?? A warranty, I had no idea. So I scoured the website for the warranty information. Surprise! No information to be found. I contacted Amazon customer service and they give me the contact information. I sent an email with proof of purchase and a detailed description of what is happening with my product. Instant runaround. “The order number I provided doesn’t match anything in Amazon. “ Hello, it’s a screenshot of the invoice. And then I get some BS about a cleaning schedule they recommend every two weeks. Maybe that should have been included in the instruction manual that came with the product. The theme seems to be blame the customer. I have no expectations that The Magic Scent will repair or replace my diffuser. My only hope is to warn others that this company produces a faulty product that they do not stand behind and offers a warranty that covers nothing.

I placed this product at the front of my retail store and I haven’t smelt ANYTHING. I thought it was just the sent I bought so I purchased a different scent from the same brand and again don’t see a difference. So disappointing with such a high price point.
