Essential Bike Computer
I bought this bike computer for a little while now, and honestly, it’s been a great addition to my rides. Setup was very easy, and I really like that it’s wireless, no extra cords to work with, which keeps everything looking clean on the handlebars. The instructions were easy to follow, and once I got it mounted, it just worked.The display is nice and bright, even when the sun is out, and I like that it shows all the key info speed, trip distance, ride time, and even calories (which is a fun bonus to see after a long ride). It’s got an automatic wake-up feature too, so as soon as I start pedaling, it comes on without me having to touch anything. That’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference when you’re just trying to get moving.I’ve switched between MPH and KM/H a couple times, depending on who I’m biking with, and the controls are simple enough. It also tracks single rides and total mileage. For something this compact and affordable, it’s surprisingly full-featured. So far it’s held up great and feels accurate.Overall, definitely worth picking up if you want something low-profile but functional for everyday cycling.

Our daughter loves riding her bike, so we thought it would be fun to give her some extra insight on her rides. This was easy to install, and accurate enough for a kid that’s just looking for fun. Anything more serious and you’ll probably want to spend some adult money, but this is fine as a novelty.

The unit works really well overall, but the instructions could use a little help—especially when it comes to the placement of the sensor and spoke magnet. That part wasn’t super clear, so I’ve included some photos of the final setup in case it helps anyone else out. Setup was otherwise pretty straightforward. The instructions (aside from the sensor bit) were clear and easy to follow. The touchscreen works smoothly, the menus are user-friendly, and it tracks speed, ambient temp, time, odometer, and even lets you toggle the backlight easily. Honestly, it’s hard to ask for more at this price point. It could really use an extra zip tie or two in the box. Also, just a heads-up—the unit doesn’t include the screw-on mount shown in the product photos. In my case, I modified the mount to screw onto my wife’s bike since her basket bracket blocked the zip tie mount. The zip tie setup should work fine for most, but this custom approach made more sense for us. Once I got the sensor and magnet aligned properly, the unit worked flawlessly. It powers down when inactive and automatically turns back on after a couple of wheel spins.

Good bike computer but could use a better attachment mechanism
I had this part for a while now but due to an injury I wasn’t able to ride my bike for a while. I finally got to install and test it. My first impressions are mostly positive. I took off one star because of the mounting method. Both the base that holds the computer on the handle bar as well as the sensor that goes on the y-fork of the wheel are installed using tie wraps.This sort of works on the handle bar as it won’t slip there but the one on the wheel is mounted on a smooth surface and keeps rotating. There are adhesive strips on them but I find the mounting a bit dodgy. Besides, I know that the tie wraps will dry out in time and will break off, requiring to be replaced every so often.Otherwise, the computer is nice. It’s easy to setup. You only set the time and set the tire size (diameter * pi). I compared it against my iPhone/Apple Watch tracking and had to make minor adjustments to get them to match.For the days you want to ride without your phone or watch to track your ride, this computer would provide a good alternative. Besides, you see immediate feedback on your instantaneous speed so you can push yourself on challenging parts of your ride.
