I Recommended Now Foods Products Good brand good Supplement. Overall performance good gross taste smells gross. But works GOOD! (Additional vitamin C not needed vitamin C not needed in product!- if you have any type of esophagus problems where you cannot swallow certain types of pills do be advise that tablets are normally circles this Iron Complex is a Circle (I had to cut in half to take)I recommend for the best one to get NOW FOODS Iron Liquid complex doesn’t taste good either but works a lot better & easier to take the body absorbs it a lot better (I got this iron complex tablets because it’s what I could get my hands on.) Remember Iron Complex comes with Vitamin C in it along with Vitamin B 12

Taste makes me die a little inside but it’s worth it
After a blood test showed I was anemic and having some absorption issues, I found these through some reviews. I’ve been taking them for about 2 weeks and the difference in my mood, sleep and overall energy is noticeable. When I take them at night, I sleep well and have some dreams, when I take it in the morning I notice I toss and turn more and don’t feel as awake. We recently started 5am gym sessions because I must hate myself, and days I take these the night before I get up ready to roll. They’re still great when I take in the morning but night is best for me. The taste is -2/10. I make sure my water is ready to go, and I’m someone who can swallow pills like a pro. The .5 seconds its in my mouth before swallowing makes the taste linger – its strong. But its worth it to me! Next blood test I’ll update if it changed my levels.

Chronic anemia?
I have an unbelievable amount of health problems due to “5”, yes, “5” autoimmune disorders. One is rare, that only took doctors 59 years to find it! Abnormal blood cells, and failing kidneys. I’m a File 13 of all my ancestors bad genes, just to see how well my body can take it. Iron sulfate upset my tummy, already have IBS that makes me miserably nauseous. But this iron supplement never upset my tummy. I went with 1 a day first, but had to bump it up to 2 per day as recommended by my primary care doctor.Taste: horrible taste! Horrible! But it does beat out a slice of beef liver.(better than pork liver). I’m real skeptic about OTC vitamins. This iron worked getting my iron levels back up to normal. I don’t get as oxygen starved as I used to. Got iron deficiency? Get your kidneys checked! This product of iron here, I took 1 a day for about a month and a half and felt no better. Out of breath, out of oxygen, exhausted and weak. So I increased my dose (under dr. supervision and recommendation) to two pills a day and being short of oxygen has improved a lot.I have hypochromic-microcytic anemia. My blood cells are abnormally small with normal cells. The outer ‘shell’ of a blood cell carries iron and oxygen throughout the body to replace the old cells. Essentially low iron and low oxygen stores. I have no such stores. Over the years of neglect because I had no idea I had a problem until major organs began to fail. Blood cells weren’t keeping up with replacing old and dying cells. I also take B12, Vit D3, and Folic Acid. All recommended by my pcp. Vit D3 needs Folic Acid to help absorb the D.I do wish I could not taste those pills.

Use it regularly to keep your Iron levels if you are a women and not taking vitamin supplements
If you are a women not in menopause, then you need Iron supplement on daily basis. It can be either using multivitamin or NOW foods iron supplement to keep up iron levels in the body. This is non-constipating and good supplement to use.

Impressionada! No início do mês de abril/2025 fiz um exame e deu muito baixo o meu ferro. Comprei esse medicamento dia 23 e comecei a tomar 2x ao dia, conforme orientação do médico. Dosei novamente ontem, e olha o resultado! De 20, em 10/04, foi pra 142, em 25/07. Exatos três meses de tratamento. Vale ressaltar que minha vitamina C tb estava abaixo do normal e ele mandou tomar 1g por dia, para melhorar a absorção, e comprei também o produto da mesma marca. Estou super satisfeita! Super indico!
