Good flavor, and filling – Real Cereal Pieces Claim Somewhat Misleading
I think the Cinnamon Toast flavor is pretty good, I usually drink half a serving (single scoop) with 10 fl oz vanilla almond milk and it keeps me satisfied. No overwhelming protein flavor, and because I use half a serving, it’s never too thick or anything. It may be thicker with a full serving of two scoops.My only complaint is the “real cereal pieces” claim on it. I was expecting actual generic brand cinnamon toast crunch pieces, but it’s really only been weird sprinkle-like chunks of cinnamon flavored (and as another reviewer pointed out, the pieces taste kind of like chocolate too for some reason?) Not enough of a problem to knock a star off of a product I otherwise like, but if you’re expecting actual cereal included in the Cinnamon Toast flavor it’s not there.

Good flavor, if you pick the right ones
I’ve tried two flavors so far. The Apple Smacks has been quite a pleasant flavor so far, and I will definitely be buying more of it in the future.The banana split on the other hand, I would avoid. It has that protein aftertaste, but somehow worse than other protein shakes I’ve used before. Even then, the banana flavor is off and the rest of the flavors for a banana split are pretty much non-existent. Honestly worse than a basic chocolate shake I picked up at walmart, and at double the price that’s not great.I will be trying some of the other flavors as well, but I can say for certain avoid banana split. Apple Smacks do smack though so definitely give that flavor a try.

This is the second flavor I’ve bought of CTRL, The first, being strawberries and cream and it was delicious. This however, was not it’s terrible which was surprising because I usually love banana and banana flavored things but the aftertaste is nearly unbearably bad here, even worse it gives your throat This horrible scratchy sensation, almost like you have a sore throat. Would not recommend in the slightest

Delicious Meal Replacement Mix
Easily one of my favorite meal replacement mixes. With plenty of protein, various nutritional vitamins, and a great apple flavor, this is a great option to start the morning. It mixes smoothly and the cereal bits are tasty and only enhance the apple flavor. It’s basically like pouring some milk over an apple cereal and drinking the milk that settles at the bottom of the bowl.I do wish they shipped in tubs rather than bags… or at the very least bags that had a sliding seal. I’ve gone through a couple of bags of various flavors and the press seal almost always just completely breaks and falls off or doesn’t seal properly. Not an issues if you’re planning on going through it within a couple of weeks, but for long term storage it’s not ideal if you can’t seal it properly.
