SO useful – game changer
I love this product. I love using menstrual cups, but I’ve always hated having to fold them and inserting them has never been easy. Plus I feel like it’s hard to get it properly situated to where it will open fully. This product makes application so much easier. The silicone is soft and flexible. I wasn’t sure it it would work with my cup because it has a ring on it for easy removal, but it worked perfectly. Definitely recommend

Prefer the Applicator Over Fingers
After using the applicator, I prefer it over using my fingers. The applicator helps me position a cup high enough without manually pushing it further. I’ve only used it at home since I can easily clean it, but it’s compact enough for travel and it comes with a storage case (I would make sure to bring wipes for on-the-go cleaning). Using it with lube is much easier and more comfortable.

Love this little doohickey! This is what got me into using my cup again – I had switched to using period panties mostly, and a cup when I was out in public. I definitely appreciate this item, it was easy to use and keeps my hands clean! Love.

Helps with insertion
I gave this product 5 stars because it is a great product. Very innovative.I have used menstrual cups for 5+ years. I bought this product because I was interested in how well it works. I personally, don’t find the product necessary because I have a routine down and can use my cups with my eyes closed. However, I gave this product for another reason as well. If I was a new user, I would definitely try this product. It could help with getting comfortable with using the cup, especially, with insertion. It can be difficult at times when you are beginning. Anyway, I love all of the pixie products!

Very helpful, but can be a little uncomfortable to use.
I actually prefer to use this now, because it’s less messy. The process is a lot like inserting a tampon – just bulkier. My only complaint is that it pinches my skin if I’m not really, really careful! (Warning: a little graphic) Forget being in a hurry, because it will definitely snag, scratch, or pull some hair out (if you’re not completely bare-down-there). Maybe it should be less boxy/angular – fewer edges would make for a more comfortable process. And longer, so you can insert the cup without the device having to be fully plunged? That would also help avoid more mess, I would think.

PAINFUL APPLICATOR AND IMPOSSIBLE YO REMOVE WITH HIGH CERVIX AND SHORT FINGERS
This product does not work the way they claim it does. The applicator is honestly a joke. It is EXTREMELY painful to use and I couldn’t even insert it WITH lubricant! I ended up doing the punch down fold and inserted the cup with my fingers. This cup is NOT high cervix friendly or tight uterus friendly. Once the cup with inside, I COULD NOT reach it even after relaxing and bearing down. My husband (who has extremely long fingers) had to get it out for me and it was a struggle for him because my cervix is so high and I’m so tight naturally. It was so painful to get it out. Complete waste of time. You claim the applicator originally was made for people with disabilities with reach issues… but once they get it in, how are they supposed to get it out if ther disability affects their reach? I was very disappointed with this product. The only good thing that came from this is that it forced me to figure out how to insert the cup without the applicator because I didn’t want it to be a total waste but then I couldn’t get it out so all around just crazy. I’ve ordered the flex cup and I’m looking forward to that. I am giving 2 stars because I did get a refund without having to return the item (didn’t want them to try and resell it used) so that was really awesome of the company to do and I also love that when you buy a cup from them, they donate another cup to a woman in need. I was so disappointed because I really thought this was going to work for me but it was not what I was expecting.

Helps for smoother insertion
The Pixie cup applicator is a great tool to have. I use a small Pixie cup, and while it’s totally possible to insert it without the applicator, using it makes it a whole lot smoother. I added the Pixie lubricant inside the applicator and on the rim of the cup, and it glided in just like a tampon applicator. I’m a 31 year old female, used tampons in the past, and have engaged in “adult” activities if you know what I mean, so I was pretty comfortable using this applicator. Totally worth the investment!
