This is the first time I have tried a disc but it works amazing. I had previously used a cup which worked great but I wanted to try a disc and see if I had less issues with getting it in and out. So far these have been great for that with the tool I purchased too. Super easy to get out using the tool, no leaks, and you can barely feel it.

The sterilzer works great I think that the disc work pretty okay. I would suggest trying disposibal ones first before purchase. The disc themselves are pretty firm , easy to install and remove. I would suggest checking out the subreddit about discs before purchase.

Better than other sterilizers!
This sterilizer is such a simple and easy to use design. You can use it for such a wide range of items. Other sterilizers are complicated and have to have the cup set so precisely to function, that it is to much of a hassle. It it quiet, done in under 20 minutes. Doesn’t get hot on the outside so it can be close to the wall, but steam does come out the hole on the lid, so it will steam whatever is around it up. I 100% will buy this again if this stops working because I won’t go without it again. ❤️As for the discs, I personally don’t feel confident using them just yet. I did try. They are very flexible, easy to insert and comfortable. I’m just afraid I’m doing it wrong. 😂Overall, great product, high quality, amazing price! I highly recommend!

Uncomfortable to insert/remove, spotting no matter what
TLDR:Notch for removal actually makes it harder;no auto-dumping is NOT a good thing;correct placement is difficult with these;rims are stiff and uncomfortable/painful when inserting and removing; spotting regardless of size/placement.I’m by no means an expert, but I tried these after liking another brand’s disposable version.—These are velvety soft textured but still are difficult to insert unless you wet it with water (or lube) first.—The small one surprisingly worked for me (for the most part, for a shorter amount of time and with a tiny bit of spotting) even though I’m “supposed” to use large, usually. The large is oddly more difficult to get correct placement and I’ve had to revisit the bathroom and go through the mess of taking it out and trying again multiple times, and being really glad I wore backup pads/liners. Even then, there’s still spotting with the large, as well. These are not as thin as the disposable discs, so feeling for your cervix through it to make sure it’s in the correct spot isn’t an option with these, either. Also of note: I bought a disc applicator and it’s the same even with that.—Both discs are a bit stiff and the rims are uncomfortable to insert and sometimes you’re…not sore, but not comfortable for a short while from just getting it in. ESPECIALLY if you have to take it back out and do it again. Ugh.It is the same discomfort/borderline pain when removing, too!—The notch for removal? ABSOLUTELY does NOT help for removal. It is less room in the disc for zero reason, as the edge of the rim in the notch is smooth and slippery and you can barely get ahold of it. I actually dread having to take it out. Slippery, so so messy, and somewhat painful.—Another down side I thought might be an up side was the lack of auto-dumping, as the ones that do that will dump a portion if it’s full enough and you sneeze or fart (it’s true) or even move just the wrong way. However, the lack of auto-dumping means that you HAVE to take it out and dump it yourself, and no matter what your flow is, it’s ALWAYS messy to remove any disc…but a full one? You better hope a sink is next to the toilet because your entire hand will be a mess. Especially because you have to grab at it and pull on that slippery, not-very-pronounced rim inside that useless notch so many times.—Another thing that I personally dislike and attribute to the spotting is the top front portion of the disc having little covered edges. You would think that would help keep the contents in when removing (not even a little bit) but imo it’s an impediment to the disc catching your flow if it’s not EXACTLY in the right spot, and it’s annoying to clean out from under there, as well. It also holds moisture longer after you’ve cleaned the disc, which we all know is not a good thing.I’m looking for a different brand and using the rest of my disposable ones because I (obviously) don’t like these at all.

El esterilizador funciona perfecto. Lo compré para la copa, pero al probar los discos que vienen de regalo me han encantado. Llevo más de 10 años usando solo copa menstrual y creo que me voy a pasar al disco, muchísimo más cómodo de colocar, retirar, menos fugas… Encantada con la compra y el descubrimiento de los discos

Pratique, peu encombrant, permet de stériliser aussi bien des cups que des disque menstruels. 2 modes par contre, pas de renseignements sur la différence entre les 2 et les indications de chacun.
