What a lovely idea for the child who might be feeling anxious or overwhelmed by life. The cards are really great quality and beautifully illustrated. Full of ideas for strategies, simple conversation starters and affirmations these cards offer a great way for parents to engage and start a conversation with a worried child. Worry Less Emotional Regulation Tools Deck for Kids
Even though the ‘Worry Less Kids Deck’ is designed for kids, I find these useful in my job as a Peer Support Specialist for adults. Whenever I’m struggling to get a new client to open up, I pull out this deck for a fun and non-intimidating way to break the ice.In the deck, there are 8 card designs with 3-4 categories of conversations starters, affirmations, and relaxation tips and techniques. Some of my clients respond really well to the cards, enjoying flipping through them and helping them articulate their thoughts and feelings.The cards are super slippery though! We’ve laughed a lot picking them up from the floor only for them to slip away again. Even though not the intention of the cards, the action of picking up the cards together often is enough to break through the nervousness and tension from meeting a new person.Overall, it’s a nice little card set and not only useful for kids.

Absolutely love these cards! Bought them for my 12 year old and she has enjoyed going through them on her own. we have also gone through them together as an opportunity to create open dialogue and communication around her feelings. Every child would benefit from these.

How Supportive and Encouraging this product is for an anxious child
Can’t say enough about these cards!!! They are a great tool in helping a child refocus/redirect their anxious thoughts while having fun at the same time. They also help encourage positive thinking during anxious thoughts. Would highly recommend this product.

This Worry Less Kids Deck is nicer than I expected. The cards are nicely printed, and I like how they are grouped by caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly designs. The deck has the most strategy cards, and there are a lot of great strategies which have clear instructions.There are strategy cards that introduce how to use the conversation starters and affirmation cards, but I just noticed that when flipping through and at first thought they didn’t have instructions. I get why it was done this way, but those cards might have been better at the front of the deck after the “Hello friends” introduction card.Another minor complaint is that one side of the box is already coming loose, but I will just need to reglue it. The cards themselves are very sturdy and durable. Overall, this is a nicely designed product, and I recommend it.
