So comfy it inspired me to get a big one
The few weighted blankets I’ve tried in the past feel stiff, didn’t drape over my body the same way the ads showed it would, and the glass beads inside were loud & lumpy.This lap blanket, on the other hand, feels like a soft fleece blanket filled with sand. The ceramic beads are small enough & the stitching is tidy enough to distribute the weight evenly.My hips get really sore in my sleep due to a connective tissue disorder & I deal with anxiety, and my partner is on the spectrum & weight is soothing to him, so it’s versatile in our house!It’s so comfortable that I ended up ordering a larger, 15lb weighted minky dot blanket from the same company. I’ll be keeping this one for, well, my lap.I’m wondering if a 15lb twin-sized blanket will be heavy enough (and long enough to share), but this lil 7lb thing is heavier than I anticipated, and the perfect size for draping over my hip for sleeping, which helps the joints stay in place overnight. If it was bigger at this weight, it would be hard to roll over underneath.I highly recommend this for anyone with chronic pain, illness, insomnia, anxiety, etc. who need something portable to keep their symptoms in check a little. I’m really glad this is the one I got!

I have a large weighted blanket and use every night but thought it would be nice to have something for me in the office. This lap version is great. I even fold it in half and use it on my neck. It’s a great weight for lap use and folded in half for my neck. It’s soft and nice quality. It doesn’t get me too hot either. Love it!!!

Nice heavy weight & perfect size
I use this when I sleep. It has a nice heavy weight to it. I didn’t want a full sized weighted blanket as that would be too warm. This is the perfect size to lay across my mid-section. Helps me stay on my back since side-sleeping bothers my legs.

This weighted pad is so comfortable and the pressure helps me with occasional anxiety! It’s cute, and I would recommend this over an entire weighted blanket since I sometimes feel suffocated with a whole blanket. I’m 5’2, and sleeping with a twin size weighted blanket was a bit uncomfortable because I felt trapped under it. If anything, I’ll use my regular blanket and put this on top for added pressure. I like this pad so much that I got another one in the cream color to keep on my couch. My friends who came over asked for the link because they liked it too!

Great throw and cat claw barrier
LOVE this weighted lap blanket!!! I bought it to use as a lap blanket in hopes to create a thick enough barrier between my lap and my cat’s claws. And this blanket understood the assignment!!! And the cat loves it because it conforms to my lap and isn’t bulky like a regular throw.

This lap blanket is super soft and cozy. It’s the perfect size and weight, and more manageable than full blankets. I’m putting a second one on my Christmas list to have when I read in bed. Maybe even a third, to have for guests. It’s perfect for those times when you need a hug, but no one is on hand. Who can you buy one for?

This blanket has improved my sleep greatly. I like that it’s small enough to put in my washing machine. I’ve washed it twice on a delicate cycle and hung it to dry and it has held up well. It does hold a lot of body heat though, so if you get too hot while you sleep it might be uncomfortable for you. In the morning, it is almost as warm as a heating pad on the lower settings.

Good weight for me. I used as a calming tactic during a long drive which gives me anxiety. I also use it when my legs ache and it really helps. It’s well made and a cozy fabric.
