Nice journal for daily notes
I have my doubts the cover is actually leather–maybe it has cow hide fibers in it or something–but it doesn’t have that thick, substantial leather feel and loses a star for that.It is very soft material, though, and does feel fancy, if that makes sense. Closer to very thin suede? The texture does show finger prints to some degree.It’s fairly large, so definitely more a desktop journal than a carry-about one.The pages are well lined and have day markers at the top you can circle.I plan to give it to one of my kids to take notes in. I think they’ll be really pleased with it.

Classy mid-sized journal
There is just something about having a journal handy on my desk – regardless of what I have actually listed on the pages, there is a sense of conferring value to the contents therein. Meeting notes … travel quotes … misc. musings and plans … financials … impromptu calls … or those random doodles all seem important when recorded in a journal.There is so much that I love about this Vivin Leather Hardcover Journal:* The feel of the cover is rich and has a professional look. I have a green fountain pen that will match perfectly.* The B5 is a nice intermediate size – it is a bit larger than the typical A5, but is not a full-sized A4. This will allow sufficient space for each day’s notes* College ruled lines have always been my preference – it fits more lines on a page than wide-ruled lines, while not being as cramped as narrow-ruled notebooks.* The top of each page has selections for the day of the week as well as space for the date – for easy identification* A ribbon to mark the current point of use in the notebook (or the spot of important notes)* An elastic band that holds the journal closed when not in use (or in transit)* The journal lays flatSlight negatives:* The first page seems to be glued rather than bound, so it does not lay flat – but that’s just one page* This is touted as being leather, but in reality it is “vegan leather.” So it is not true leather.Neither of these warrants the removal of a star in my book.The price is in line with other similar products listed on this site – and it is significantly cheaper than the more well-known brand name journals.I would certainly consider purchasing another Vivin journal when I come to the end of this one! Excellent product.

Large, businesslike notebook set, very professional in appearance and function
This review is for the 3 pack of ViVin A4 College Ruled Notebook 8.5″ x 11″ in colors black, navy and brownThese are the most serious hardcover blank books I’ve ever had. They are full sized, with plain dark covers, and good paper with minimal extraneous text. Just the college ruled lines which aren’t printed too boldly, and a way to indicate the date at the top of each page. I’m glad the lines aren’t printed too strong, I always like them to be more faint, and these are fine.The paper is a nice cream color that is easy on the eyes, and the covers have a matte texture that isn’t slippery and is easy to hold.These are very businesslike. That’s what I wanted them for, to track some legal and tax things I’m setting up next year. It’s great to have the set, color coded for different purposes. And I’m glad they look different than the marble cover composition books I use for everything else.One of the nicest things about these is the sewn binding. The pages are sewn in signatures and they lay flat, just like the description says. This notebook won’t fall apart and you won’t be fighting with it. The high quality features of this notebook set make it well worth the price.

Got me feeling like a true professional, taking important notes!
I’m one for frequent journal and note taking and have always been super picky about the notebook I carry around, and I’ve been using this for daily work meeting notes…and this has actually been a great encouragement for consistent note taking and journaling on the daily! The B5 size is a perfect size for toting around and the leather itself and the color of the cover looks and makes me feel fancy. I do wish it had a pen loop, though, which would make it that much more convenient for frequent use. Functionality and durability on point, making this a high valuable gem you won’t want to enter any meeting without! Will be sure to update my review here if something about this changes or breaks down!

College Ruled Notebooks Set of 3
These notebooks are very nice, the covers are smooth to the touch and even takes stickers well. The paper itself is lined well and thick enough to take my fine fountain pen ink without any bleed through which is impressive, regular ballpoint pens are fine. They look nice and professional for taking notes in meetings, definitely better than a traditional spiral notebook and without breaking the bank so that makes me happy.I’d recommend these highly the covers are very durable and again for a pack of 3 they are priced competitively.
