EKKYL Smart water bottle
It does keep hot water hot, but not very hot. The 92C hot water reduced to 50c in 12 hours. It is difficult to tight the cover and it is difficult to open when it is tight.

Stylish, Functional, but Dishwasher Warning
The Smart Bottle made from stainless steel is an excellent option for anyone needing a durable, temperature-retentive bottle. The double-walled, vacuum-insulated design keeps drinks hot or cold for hours, while the sleek gray exterior adds a modern touch. The built-in temperature display is a standout feature, offering a quick and easy way to check your drink’s temperature with a simple tap. However, while the bottle itself performs well, the lid doesn’t hold up well in the dishwasher. After a few cycles, it develops a strange coating, which detracts from the overall experience. Handwashing the lid is recommended to preserve its integrity.Despite this minor issue, the bottle’s overall build quality, leak-proof design, and practical temperature display make it a solid choice for home, office, gym, or travel use. It’s a stylish, functional solution that balances form and function—just be cautious with cleaning the lid.

Quality product, but lacking instructions.
With all the talk of microplastics getting into our bodies, primarily through bottled water, this item caught my attention. I heard it said that you can reduce the amount of microplastics you consume by 90% just by not drinking bottled water anymore. That’s huge. This 16 oz travel cup is very nicely constructed. Feels good in the hand with a slightly grippy, textured powder coated surface, but not the rubberized kind that will get sticky over time. I was curious as to the claims of how long it keeps things hot or cold, so I halfway filled it with a beverage for my refrigerator last night or it registered 17° c. This morning 8 hours later, it was still at 17° c, which is still pretty darn good. I wouldn’t expect it to maintain the same temperature over the 24 or 36 hour periods as advertised on the box.The temperature readout and timer to remind you to hydrate again in 2 hours is clever, but I wish there was a setting to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit, since I live in America and we don’t go by the metric system here, at least, not willingly! Lol. But there seems to be no way to change it or the battery, for that matter. I imagine there is a way to change the battery on the display, but there are no instructions for how to do so and I’m not anxious to take it apart to find out. Medical grade stainless steel has a comforting sound to it, along with the included stainless steel infuser if you want to brew your own tea (or great for mixing and straining cocktails!), but keep in mind that this is a hand washed item only. So no dishwasher for this one.It fits nicely in the cup holder, but unless you own a self-driving vehicle, remember that you’re going to have to use two hands in order to screw off the lid in order to take a drink while on the move. All in all, this is a very nice, vacuum insulated cup that I look forward to using to keep my cold drinks cold and my hot drinks hot for a reasonable period of time for many years to come. Even though I have no idea how to remove the battery from the lid, I’m not too concerned because the display only remains on for maybe 2 seconds once activated, so I expect the battery life to be quite good. Perhaps years.
