Awesome Maca!
This Maca Root is amazing. I am taking for hormonal balance (perimenopause). This definitely gives energy, helps with my hormones, and increases sex drive.I’m on my second bottle. I chose this one because of price, the inclusion of black, red, and yellow maca (with black pepper fruit to help my body absorb it), and because it is gelatinized maca which is important for our body to utilize it. I plan to put this one on subscription so I don’t run out.I personally take just 2 a day though the recommended serving is 3 capsules. However, I am grateful they didn’t make the pill size larger to cram a full dose into 2 pills…if I ever feel that I need more, I’ll just add the third capsule.

I added this to my coffee every morning since it arrived and just ran out.Flavor: It is very mild flavored and does not change the taste of coffee (with creamer) much, however it does taste a lot like honey or some kind of nectar.Effectiveness: I tried to use it to counteract some medication side effects, so your mileage may vary. I did notice a subtle energy boost and a very slight improvement in my libido, but neither were as significant as I hoped. Regardless, there was improvement in areas where a medication was shutting me down, so that seems pretty good.

WARNING: dr told me to never take this again
vitamins i’ve taken before (loving libido) had 200 mg maca, so i figured 50mg in this a serving in this was safe. seemed like a reasonable price and i live gummy vitamins. smelled and tasted fine. seemed safe.WRONG.i ate ONE of these a week ago, and have had the worst yeast infection of my life. turns out maca can cause that after looking into it. i’ve had infections before and it always easily cleared up with one boric acid suppository.now i’m a full week into treating this miserable infection daily with two different meds, and suppositories 2x a day. all for it to STILL come back with the most intense symptoms i’ve ever had from one. never had one even half this uncomfortable or severe and persistent. confirmed with dr and ruled out any other causei wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. no clue why other maca vitamins have been fine for me but such a small dose has cause this. hope i can get a refund. very bummed, wanted to love it
