Ideal melatonin product for kids, and it WORKS!
My pediatrician recommended giving my son a 1-mg dose of melatonin before bedtime to help with his sleep issues. Despite having a solid bedtime routine, wearing-down period, attention to evening diet and fluids, lighting control, etc. my child has always had difficult crossing the threshold to sleep. When, at age 4, he was still fighting sleep 3 and 4 hours after bedtime by bouncing around his bed and making noises, I was determined to get some help for him. It wasn’t healthy or normal for a child and it was detrimental to his life in his waking hours. A bad cycle for everyone!So when my pediatrician assured me that melatonin works well, is safe and natural, and non-habit forming, I was excited to give it a try. Most of what I found in drugstores was a non-chewable tablet, so I checked on trusty Amazon and found these chewables with great reviews.The very first night we used them, my son was sweet, pleasant, and sleepy during his bedtime routine and he went right to sleep without a fuss. My husband and I were very surprised at how quickly and well this worked! Our 2 year old daughter is a better sleeper by nature but when she is going through a difficult phase we cut a tablet in half and it really helps her too. I have started taking it myself when I have the urge to be a night owl and I can personally attest to the effectiveness of melatonin. It doesn’t MAKE you go to sleep, it just helps your body to get there and you wake up feeling well rested.After a few months of using melatonin for my son, I am seeing even greater benefits. His physical growth has taken off because he is getting the proper rest that he needs, and he is more balanced and able to reach his full potential in daily activities. He is also more aware of when his body needs to rest. I can’t fully describe what we’ve been through in the last 4 years, but melatonin is truly a miracle and I would recommend it to anyone with sleep difficulties.

Helps me get to La La land.
I have a whole system set up for bedtime. Including a few other items like magnesium and L- Thianine which I take to start winding down. One of the things that I really like about this aside from the flavor, it seems like you’re having candy, is the fact that I can take this after I have brushed my teeth for the night because the sweetener in it is sorbitol, hey Siri, what Is sorbitol? It is a sugar alcohol. It does not contribute to tooth decay. . I take two 3 mg. Tablets And I am off to sleep within a half an hour. I have found that this is what works best for me.
