When looking for vitamins, I always look for organic and natural (even though ‘natural’ is more of a loose term ). However, the product states that everything is 100% natural when, in fact, FD&C Yellow # 6 is an artificial ingredient. The yellow coloring additive is listed in ‘other ingredients’ and is, potentially, very minuscule in quantity. Although, I try to go out of my way to avoid artificial coloring in food, drug, and beauty products. I did check the information on the product website ( […o]), in the product description, only to find that the legible product information leaves out the fact that the supplement contains FD&C Yellow #6. The same goes for the typed out ingredients on the Amazon product page. However, if you zoom in on the product ingredients on the ACTIF website or Amazon, or if you’ve purchased it, you will see that it is listed. The pills are orange, which, I assume, is where the color comes into play and is seemingly unnecessary. So, for me, that’s the most disappointing thing about the product.As far as the pills go, there is no flavor, so typical. They seem a little large, but they’re easy enough to swallow. For those who can’t swallow pills whole, they are powder in cellulose capsules. The seal is on the side, so it can be cut to get the powder form out (which I haven’t tried because I swallow them).My results, so far, are that I did feel a little nauseous when I first started taking the pills (although, not anymore). Also, I do feel like they are doing something, but I have yet to see the results as I just started taking them. My cycles are regular. However, it has been 5 years since I first started trying to get pregnant. I have had some tests and went on Clomid for 2 months with no luck. I am hopeful in trying this product, and I will try it for a few months, regardless of my feelings on the FD&C Yellow #6. (The product seems fairly new, so maybe the coloring will, eventually, be removed.) For what it is, though, the price is decent, and it is a more natural method on trying to improve fertility than Clomid and IUI or IVF, though it is a last fling for me before I move on to the latter.As I continue to use the product, I plan on updating my review and rating of the product.

finally got pregnant at 44
I am 44 and was trying to get pregnant after 2 miscarriages. I was on fertility treatment and ran through everything with my doc to make sure this product is good. I purchased Actif and started using it as suggested and was pregnant by the time I almost finished my second bottle. I must say that Actif has helped me reduced hot flashes and given me relaxation. It may be a combination of factors but I think that Actif is good, it calms the mood and makes you feel more comfortable.

Got it from the doc and took it religiously for 6 months until I got pregnant. The rest is history. Don’t expect anything to work instantly, according to my doc, anything would take at least 2-3 months to work.
