Hoping for hormonal balance
I recently learned that my body is not processing estrogen properly. My naturopath wants me to take DIM. This supplement is a much higher dose than the one she wants me to take, but I decided to try it anyway because it is much cheaper than the one she wants me to take. So far I haven’t noticed any changes, but I will continue to take and hope for the best. If it works; it’s an excellent value.

I like it because it has a good dose if DIM and includes some cruciferous veggies. Unfortunately I don’t tolerate kale well so it make me gassy. Good size capsule that is easy to swallow. Good value for the price. Very satisfied.

I think I may have a reaction to DIM. It makes all my symptoms worse. My hot flashes, headaches and brain fog all increased dramatically on this product, but again it may be me and an sensitivity with DIM.

Quality DIM supplement
DIM Complex is a hard thing to explain and they’re just now starting to be studied by the medical/scientific community. That means ‘your mileage may vary’. DIM doesn’t have much in the way of side effects unless you take more than the recommended dosage. Even then, the side effects are more unpleasant (gastro-intestinal distress) than dangerous.There are a number of potential benefits of DIM that are being researched but the primary reason people take it is as a hormone balancing treatment. You can look online for the other potential benefits of DIM Complex but both me and my wife take them for hormonal balance. There isn’t much supporting research for this, but since the downside risk is minimal we figure ‘why not’. My wife has commented that her skin looks better now than it ever has, but that fact could have multiple causalities.In terms of this product, I’m impressed by the quality the manufacturer delivers at a reasonable price point. It’s made with natural ingredients–primarily black pepper, broccoli powder and kale powder. You can get DIM from Cruciferous veggies (eg: watercress, mustard greens, bok choy in addition to broccoli and kale) but you’d have to eat a lot to get the concentrated dosage that capsules offer. This supplement is non-GMO, gluten free, free of any number of other problematic additives (eg: artificial colors, artificial flavors, soy, sugar, corn, etc.) and made in the USA. The only other ingredients are rice flour and cellulose for the capsule.If you think you could benefit from a DIM complex supplement, this is a well made product sold at a reasonable price point. Recommended.
