It helps alleviate allergy
I have bought this because I have allergy to dust and dry eye syndrome, and now I live in a cold region where it is particularly dry and dusty in winter. Today I’m just starting to use it. It is easy to operate and not loud. And it does not seem to interfere with my air purifier (my Levoit cool mist humidifier both interferes with my air purifier and worsens my allergy.) So my guess is that the droplets are really small and get spread over the room evenly. I feel more comfortable and calm with it, and my nose is not as congested as before.My room size is 22 m2 and the vapor could cover the whole room. I would not worry about mold growth because my room has heating (which is one of the reasons that I have to use this.) But I am a bit suspicious whether one bucket of water lasts 12 hours because it seems more than half a bucket lasts for just 4 hours. But if it could last for 8 hours, it’s also enough to cover my sleep phase.I live in a hard water region, and in winter the water is so hard that scales accumulate in the heating chamber really quickly–within 3 days of use, the chamber was full of metal flakes and smells sour… I cleaned them up, and I found it easy to clean the device too. Everything is very straightforward and foolproof. But yeah, I need to use filtered water at least. Filtered water still contains some minerals, but is better than the unfiltered. Also, I find that I probably have to clean up the heating chamber and the chimney after each use, because otherwise a strange smell comes out of it possibly due to the accumulation of limescale and bacteria (even if I use filtered water). This is probably a downside of warm mist as compared to cool mist. But I have to go for warm mist anyway because cool mist makes my allergy worse.

The humidifier was a return that I thought that I would take a chance on to save some money. It turned out to be a good decision. The humidifier works great. It has only two settings, but for my needs, it’s perfect. The tank is a bit smaller than a previous humidifier, so it needs to be filled a bit more often, but for me, that’s not a problem either. The tank has a handle on both the top and bottom so it’s easy to carry when full of water. Has a screw in “valve” which seals well. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. I do not add vaporizer. Just water.

I’ve been using the Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really pleased with its performance. It puts out a steady, warm mist that helps a lot with dry air and congestion especially during cold and allergy seasons. The option to add Vicks VapoSteam is a nice bonus when you need extra relief.The unit is quiet enough for nighttime use and does a good job humidifying a medium-sized bedroom. Cleaning is fairly easy, though you do need to stay on top of it to prevent mineral buildup especially if you have hard water.A couple of things to note: the water tank could be a little larger it usually lasts through the night, but just barely. And while it’s not loud, there’s a slight bubbling sound that might bother light sleepers.

Works very well, Easy to use, easy refill, easy to clean. I seem to have to replace every 2 1/2 years. This year, the handle cracked (a first). Still like them for price and reasons stated in previous sentence.

I purchased this humidifier during the winter months for my bedroom since I kept on catching a cold and getting very congested and wheezing in my sleep.This Vicks humidifier was really helpful throughout the whole winter it lets out a nice amount of mist and you can really tell the difference its a great feeling waking up not as congested as before.I like that it has 2 settings on the high setting you can run it for around 8-9 hours which will last you the whole night on the lower setting it will last for around 19- 20 hours on average.I also love that it has a auto turn off so you dont have to worry about it staying on when the water runs out.Like any humidifier or anything that you let water sit in MOLD WILL GROW so dont flip out if you see mold whats good about this is that its very easy to clean out and with proper maintenance you wont have any major issues with mold or anything else like that.You can wipe it clean or use vinegar to kill the mold this one is very easy to clean.My only issue is that its just a little big so its hard to find the perfect spot to put it but thats just my preference so I cant take off a star for that reason alone.On the other hand a plus of having a bigger humidifier is that the water will last longer and will reach your whole room instead of just 1 small area.I also like that this is not to noisy its actually a soft soothing noise that helps me fall asleep.All in all this is a great humidifier it really works well does a perfect job easy to use easy to clean and a solid price point as well.If you found my review helpful it’d be great if you[…].
