Best Iron Supplement I’ve found
I have low iron and try to eat red meat to help with my low levels. However, I still take 2 of these almost everyday to keep my levels in the “normal” range. I don’t know if it’s because it’s plant based, but I have no trouble with my stomach or digestion when taking this supplement.

Very effective and tolerable
I have tried many different iron and ferritin supplements pill and liquid form over the years and they have all been either with side effects and/or not been effective. This ferrofood is tolerated very well and very, very effective. I’ve always been anemic (even with all the other supplements for years) and lost a bit more blood than normal during childbirth, and just 6 weeks after birth all my results are well within normal range- CBC, iron storage and ferritin.

Low iron? Found out recently from my child’s doctor that vitamin C is needed for the body to absorb the iron! So if you are taking iron but are low on C you are fighting an uphill battle. This product has BOTH in the correct dosage so you can actually absorb the iron you are taking! This is an excellent product and I WILL be buying it again. Side note: Doctor told us not to take iron with milk. The calcium in the milk will keep you from absorbing the iron. Wait at least 30 minutes after taking iron to eat or drink anything with calcium in it. Low iron can not only cause fatigue but also brain fog, change in barometric pressure headaches, and restless leg syndrome. A simple blood test from your doctors office can check your iron levels. Highly recommend this product for an iron supplement when it is recommended by your doctor!
