This Watch Covers the Bases, Won’t Break the Bank, and Isn’t Awfully Uncomfortable
It has taken me a long time to review this watch, from the many consultations with AI to investigate the readings. It also took me a long time to select this watch at all. I tried two other watches and also a smart ring. I returned all three. The first two smart watches I reviewed were inconsistent in the sleep readings, the chief reason I want a smart watch. The smart ring was also erratic and failed to even take sleep readings most of the time (probably due to the necessity of a larger size to get over arthritic knuckles that was subsequently too lose on the finger itself). All three tries were very uncomfortable. This watch is bearable to wear. It can be cinched at sufficient tightness to take readings yet not pinch (much). Its readings (steps, heart rate, oxygen saturation) are consistent, and I am able to check them against other instruments I own and find them to be accurate, allowing for the time difference and exertion it takes to use–get off and on–the other instruments like the oximeter and blood pressure cuff. As to steps, I’ve never used a step counter, but this watch at least is consistent from day to day nor is it wildly askew from probabilities, and I’ll take that, since I know exercise, while essential to health, is not essential to weight loss, only cutting the carbs works there. It also delivers at least text messages from my wifi Google Voice service (not cellular), which the other wifi/bluetooth watches did not, although it does not make or receive phone calls (at least yet, I have been unable to get Google Assistant to load on the watch (which a source–the only source I found– said would make phone calls possible. Documentation on the use of Google Voice with smart devices seems impossible to find.As to the sleep monitoring, that is impossible to check without getting a formal sleep study. This watch is accurately reporting the number of hours I sleep and recognizes the wake periods, which I know from glancing at the clock if I have to get up during the night and noting the hour. The other readings of deep sleep, REM sleep, and light sleep are credible from data obtained by asking AI (repeatedly!) what the norm is for ‘most people.’ I need a little more deep sleep (as is true for most elderly people), and I get a lot of REM sleep, bordering on symptomatic, and probably due to the caffeine I drink during the afternoon when I should be stopping it by nine am. Lol. I will work on improving both areas. And that’s why I wanted a smart watch. Others may make more use of the many exercise functions, but at my age I’m happy to get to the gym to do some cardio and strength training. Pickle ball will have to wait. This a good deal for the money. And it’s not terribly, terribly unattractive.

Decent Budget Smartwatch with Some Frustrating Hurdles
I received this smart watch expecting basic functionality and not much else. Overall, it’s a mixed bag, but the core features that matter most actually delivered. The Good:• Battery life is genuinely impressive. I’m getting about 3-4 days of normal use (always-on heart rate, sleep tracking, occasional notifications, and a workout or two) before needing a charge.• Health tracking is surprisingly solid. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep stages, and steps. The Annoying Part (and it’s a big one):The watch arrived 100% in Chinese. Menus, notifications, everything. The companion app (DaFit) switches to English right away, but the watch itself does not automatically follow. It took me a solid 30min-1 hr of trial-and-error. Once I switched it to English, everything became usable, but that first hour was genuinely infuriating.Other notes:• Build quality feels decent for the price, but the watch band feels cheap.• The packaging was actually really nice, sturdy box, foam insert. Weirdly premium for such a budget device.• Touchscreen is responsive, bright enough outdoors, and there are tons of watch faces available in the app.Bottom line:If you’re patient enough to wrestle with the initial Chinese interface (or you speak/read Chinese), this is a good deal for basic fitness tracking and battery life.

Looks good but I am not fully pleased
When I ordered this watch, I was already comparing it with two other watches that I have. It seems that all have some features that I like, but not one of them has all of the features that I would want. This watch, straight out of the box, feels like very good quality. It has good weight and it looks very much like the name-brand watches. After setting up the app, I allowed all permissions and notifications to make sure that I was getting the full experience of the watch. One thing that I don’t like, which I experienced with one of my other watches from the same brand, is that you have to know your stride length for the watch to calculate your steps. I do not like this at all because I made my stride length too long and it was counting only half of my steps. The sound quality when speaking through the watch is not that great. I also feel like there is some confusion between the walking exercise app and the regular step counter. Having both just seems confusing for me. There’s also a GPS feature in the watch, and I never quite figured out if the watch itself has GPS in it or if the watch is getting directions from the GPS on the phone.Because I have another watch from the same brand that is slightly more expensive, I was able to compare some of the features between the two watches. This watch does not have as many watch faces in the gallery as my other watch. One thing I noticed that is a positive is that this watch lasted a very long time on one charge before needing to be recharged. I was testing out three different smartwatches at once, and this watch had the longest-lasting battery life. I believe this lasted 6 days before needing to be recharged.

A steal when it comes to Smart Watches
I got this for my SO who is a nurse and wanted to keep track of her steps. I am absolutely blown away. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my expectations were definitely low. This competes with Garmin and Samsung in my opinion. The battery life is tremendous and the charging cable/method is just so much better than Garmin or Samsung. The quality is great and it seems very durable. I am personally a big fan of the wrist straps and I think they’re pretty comfortable, but I am finding it hard to find replacement straps so my SO can put it on her arm. It’s not nearly as accurate as Garmin, though. Garmin takes the cake there. But it’s very easy to use, the software is quite impressive, and it functions great! This is a steal of a find!
