From the brand

SHORDY believes that menstruation is one of the most important physiological changes occurring in girls during the adolescent years. It heralds the onset of physiological maturity in girls. It becomes the part and parcel of their lives until menopause. Apart from personal importance, this phenomenon also has social significance in the life of a woman.
How did we get started?
We saw a lot of people on e-commerce sites, complaining about how their menstrual cups & discs were not suitable for their anatomy. There were a lot of complaints regarding the size of the cups & their quality. That’s when we decided to provide our very own menstrual cups & accessory products with two sizes in one pack. We calibrated these designs in such a way that all the size issues would be taken care of. We decided affordable menstrual care is the need of the hour & launched our brand – SHORDY.

Best disc ever, even with a heavy flow!
Best menstrual disc I’ve used! Several others have either leaked uncontrollably (Lumma) or caused cramps and discomfort (Flex, Casco). I’ve had an issue with the rims on other discs being either too soft or too firm, but Shordy really is just right. The rim is just firm enough to stay put without leaking, without being so thick or firm it causes cramps.I have a high cervix and tight pelvic floor, and amazingly both sizes work for me. I typically use the large disc on my heaviest 1–2 days, and the smaller disc every other day. No leaks with either one. I can even wear it overnight during a super heavy flow and only have to change it once, about every four hours. I’ve had issues with the string on the Lumma disc being too stiff and uncomfortable, so I was prepared to cut the strings off these discs too, but I haven’t needed to. They tuck right up under the disc with no problem, and I can’t even feel them.Given how much of a headache I’ve been through with finding the right disc, I’m about to buy several of these so I have backups in case they ever go out of stock! I even love the color, and haven’t had issues with staining so far. Shordy, there’s no need to do anything “new” and “improved”—these discs are great!!!

Awesome for low cervix folks!
I’ve struggled to find the right menstrual cup or disc. I have a low cervix and also just not a whole lot of room. Normal discs are too big for me and can’t tuck behind my public bone. Most cups sit too low and feel uncomfortable. I found one little disc that was comfortable but leaked and then lost it, so I was back on the hunt. So far, the small shordy disc is working great! I’m only a couple days into using it, but no leaks, super fast learning curve (I’ve been using cups and discs for a long time, though), and I can’t feel it at all. I do find it a bit difficult to remove but that’s my fault for cutting off the pull tab thing because I thought it’d irritate me. Overall, a big win!

Good alternative to tampons. Read for advice on removal
I was using the flex disc before. So this will be a comparison.I have normal to light periods that usually have about only one day of “heavy” flow.Pros:-I like the color and the bag that comes with it.-Good for the environment and no risk for Toxic Schock Syndrome.-It includes a pull tab for easier removal (more about that later)-Easy to clean.-Good price-No leaks for me after I wore it for like 10 hours.Cons:-It feels a little “thick” compared to Flex Disc, but as long as you got it inserted properly, then you wont feel it.-You can kinda feel the pull tab. I didnt have sex with this one (the flex disc i did) because i felt he would be able to feel it. Also, honestly I didnt really want it. I cut it shorter assuming I could just use my finger, but it doesnt have a little dip on the rim where you can scoop it out like the flex disk kind of does. So I struggled to get it out. The tab will stretch and slip out of your fingers so I had to use toilet paper when gripping it as to not slip. Ended up being messier than i would like. Alos, instead of just inserting it, you have to actually position and center the tab in the front middle which can be a little annoying if it is off center once inserted.-It didnt hold as much as I would like for as long, but It does the job.I am overall satisfied, but I will be going back to the flex disc.***NOTE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE STRUGGLED TO REMOVE DISCS”I went through this when i first started using the flex disc and OMG i was terrified I would never be able to get it out. What you need to remember is dont leave it in for TOO long because once its full and youre trying to remove it, it leaks out and makes everything slippery to pull out. What you do is lean a little foreward get in there, BREATHE, and act like you are trying to push a baby out (or like going number 2 on a difficult day lol). Contract and push, and you will feel it being slightly pushed out. Using your middle finger with a scooped hand to reach underneath the rim and pull it out. Push like your life depended on it and youll get it out.

Easier than the cups, and great for travel!
This is it! I’ve been looking for a tampon alternative and tried a cup first, it was, well, challenging for me. It seemed enormous and removing it was rough-I never could seem to break the seal. I’m sold on this disc! So much smaller to insert and has the little tail just like a tampon, no seal to worry about-wish I knew about these sooner! I’m trying it out at the end of my period here, so I’m not sure about volume or leakage but it can’t be worse than leaking through a super tampon every 2 hours! After having to take up half a suitcase in tampons after a recent trip I knew I just needed a better option. I got the small, again, I have a decently heavy flow but I needed something small enough to insert without trouble. Highly recommend over a cup!

Un bonheur. Facile à utiliser. Bien pousser le disque au fond avant de le plaquer contre l’os publientLa grande taille me convient avec un col haut

First time using a period disc. I found there was less leakage compared to period cups but it’s difficult and a little messy to remove as the pulley string thing is not very strong so you need to insert finger to grab onto rim of disc. I found it doesn’t auto dump as I’ve read some discs doing but that could be because it’s my first time using a disc.

Consigliatissimo
