I really like Ritual as a company and their transparency around their products and the source of the materials they use.I have used a lot of natural based products as sleep aids with varying results. I typically do not like products with Valerian root and Melatonin because it will often help you sleep but in the morning you have a lingering groggy hangover feeling. What caught my eye with this product was the timed release technology.Melatonin works but as I mentioned I didn’t like the after effects. The description explained how each capsule has 3 doses with different time releases (you can see the three balls in the clear capsule). One is for quick release to help you fall asleep, one with less strength is for the middle of the night to help keep you asleep and the last one with the slowest release and least amount of strength for the latter part of the night to taper off so you don’t feel groggy when you wake up. I was blown away with this Sleep BioSeries Melatonin. It does everything it says. I take this to get solid sleep on nights when I need it the most. Increases the quality of sleep and has you waking up ready to tackle the next day. It also has a vanilla taste which makes it easy to take.

Does not work at all. I tried may brands of melatonins before and they all worked some how, some good some bad. But this product literally DOES NOT WORK at all. I can’t believe a brand like this cannot even make the simple Melatonin pills. How are they able to make products for pregnant women? This is alarming

Pricey, pretty, works decently
I take melatonin occasionally, usually when my sleep is wack and I need to get back on track with a more normal sleep routine. I read somewhere you should take melatonin three hours before you want to fall asleep.I bought this because a) it was on sale b) I like Ritual products (I take two others daily) and c) it’s pretty.It’s pricey for how much you get in one bottle – only 20 capsules. There should be 30 capsules per bottle at least, regardless of price. The bottles are half full — I bought two bottles and condensed the capsules and one vanilla scent stick of both bottles into one bottle and now the single bottle is full.The vanilla scent stick is a nice touch. Smells a treat better than valerian root for sure.It works better than cheaper melatonin options I’ve tried but it’s not a sure fire way to get me to fall asleep in three hours. I just take it to reset rather than cure a night of insomnia.

Give subtle relaxation, easy to take with nice flavor
I’ve tried a few sleep pills and this is one of my favorites. It gives a subtle relaxation into sleep and is an easy size to swallow. Some pills are too large and uncomfortable to swallow before bed. I also like the subtle vanilla flavor they have.

I love Ritual brand but these did not work for me. I struggled to fall asleep and stay asleep, unfortunately. I love the idea though.

Worsened sleep
I like the vanilla scent or “essence” of the capsules, but these make my sleep worse than using kava or CBD supplements. I toss/turn and spend more time “waking” through the night (even though I’m able to quickly fall back asleep). I wouldn’t recommend, especially for a beginner to melatonin. I wish these were a much smaller dose, like 1 mg.

These are AMAZING!!!! I am post menopause and my sleep was crap!!! I started these along with powder form glycine.. and OMG! I sleep thRough the night and my recovery is way better so I get to lift more weights!! I’ll continue to purchase these until they stop making them when I’ll beg them to make’em again LOL BUY THEM! U WILL NOT REGRET IT!!
