I purchase Primrose to help with my terrible terrible hot flashes. I read reviews after reviews. Listen I had water pouring off my forehead and at night I toss and turned. Clothes off clothes on, then fan off fan on you get the ideal!!But baby I started taking this pill and I would take one in the morning and one at night before bed. I new it was working because at 3pm I would start getting those hot flashes again but I could deal with them better. I stayed with the 2. At night I would sleep like a baby. Now I still got up but only 2x in the night now that was good for me. When I say this is good stuff it is good stuff!!!!!

Reduces breast swelling
Evening Primrose Oil is a natural supplement that I have taken for more than 10 years to reduce breast swelling and tenderness caused by monthly hormonal changes. It is effective even during the pre-menopause years. Several times I stopped taking the supplement for two days just to see what would happen and my breasts became painfully sore. Then I restarted treatment and within two days, my breasts were back to normal. I take three 1000-mg capsules a day. This brand – Nature’s Bounty – is effective. I tried a cheaper brand once (Life Fitness sold by CVS) that did not work at all, so I recommend sticking with this one, which reliably works. I had no side effects. Try it!

Sorry to shout, but this product has done WONDERS for my period. Yes, I said PERIOD. Get over it or GET OUT. Sorry, that’s just PMS talking. JUST KIDDING I DON’T HAVE PMS because I take these pills daily! I initially started taking these pills to reduce hormonal acne, and while I have seen a difference, the main reason I will continue taking these is for my PERIOD! I used to get HORRID cramps, but no more! I used to have my period for 5-7 DAYS, but now it lasts maybe THREE. THIS IS SERIOUSLY A MIRACLE DRUG YOU GUYS. (I take 3 pills a day, equaling 3000mg daily)

I have a degree in Natural Health and with a little research I knew EPO would do one of two things for me: help or not. I have serious pms (especially after having two children my hormones are out of wack). Hot flashes is/was my biggest complaint and then my pms acne. Honestly, within my first cycle I noticed my skin was clearer (yes, I still had some breakouts but nothing major) and my hot flashes were so minimal I barely noticed. I have been actively taking this product and telling all my female family and friends. I truly has helped me and I hope it helps you too.

Worked for me
I had a slight pain on my breast and was reading up on it . I don’t have any lumps or illness , in this case I don’t think this oil would help . But I found an article by GYN doctor who recommended evening primrose oil in case of painful breast ( some reasons are unknown , some due to periods ) . I bought it to try , what I’ve got to loose ? And it’s good for bunch of other things but this was a main reason I’ve got it . After about a week of taking it daily pain start to diminish and eventually went away completely . I still take as a supplement even the pain is gone .

I wish these came in a higher count because the amount of GLA needed means I have to take 5 gelcaps a day (3 in the am, 2 in the pm).Other than that, my doc says my crazy too-low cholesterol has much improved since taking these, providing me with the much needed fats I dont get in my diet.
