Whenever any of my friends find out they (or their wife/girlfriend) are expecting a baby, this is the FIRST thing I recommend. My sister first used this in her pregnancy. She found it in some health-food store I think, and liked it because it is JUST oils, no chemicals or preservatives. After I saw how AMAZING she looked after having a baby, I knew I would use the same thing when I got pregnant (which was about a year later). I didn’t get not even one stretch mark, and my skin was sooo soft. I was back in a bikini in 2 weeks (although I also credit breastfeeding, a very hungry baby, and my youth–I was 21– for the quick weight loss, but this FOR SURE deserves credit for my skin!). Our mother got stretch marks with her pregnancies, so I think she was a little jealous that my sister and I didn’t, and wished they had this oil when she was pregnant!I went through about 1 1/2 bottles during my pregnancy. At first, I put it on once a day after my shower, and then twice a day or more once I got bigger. I’d recommend putting it on and waiting a few minutes before getting dressed so the oil can sink in. You can also use it after the baby is born, which I did only for a short time.For some reason, when I was about seven months along, I decided to try some Palmers Belly Butter. The next day, my stomach starting itching and broke out in this rash. I immediately switched back to the Mother’s Special Blend.I’ve recommended this to EVERY pregnant person I know. All of my friends (I can think of about 6, early to mid-twenties women) have used it with great results, and no stretch marks or stretched out skin! One friend I recommended it to said she used it for only a little while and then stopped, and she has stretch marks and the typical stretched out belly-skin.My only complaint is that the bottle has a tendency to get oily on the outside no matter how carefully you use it.If you are thinking of buying this, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it! If I could only buy ONE thing for myself during a pregnancy, this would be IT! You will not be disappointed!

Really moisturizing
This stuff is super moisturizing. Stretch marks are genetic, so in my case they couldn’t be entirely prevented but I really feel like this helped. I’m 6 weeks postpartum and using this to heal and my stretch marks are fading very quickly. I also have been using it on my cracked heels and my feet have never been softer!I will say that when I was pregnant I was using this and the smell was unbearable – like chocolate mixed with rotting plastic. I had to switch between this and another brand some days. My husband didn’t understand and now that I’m not pregnant anymore, I get his confusion. There really isn’t a scent at all. Pregnancy hormones are wild. But buyer beware that it may not smell great if you don’t like cocoa butter and have heightened senses.

Great product. I used this all through my pregnancy and never developed stretch marks. It’s a nice self care ritual too. Many years later and I just reordered it to use as a general body oil.

Very helpful with the stretch
Definitely surprised how well it works. I started using this later in my pregnancy, so I already have stretch marks. This has definitely helped lighten them and so far I have not seen any new ones. It definitely very oily and sometimes it gets on my clothes but it washes out . My skin is very soft after using it and my skin dose bit dry out at all after applying. It smells great in my opinion. Definitely worth it the money. This will be my second time ordering.

Not expensive and feels great!
I’ve tried many oils for my stretch marks, and during pregnancy. This product is cheap and makes me feel like my belly is well hydrated, not sticky. It’s easy to apply, It is oily but after a little bit it makes my skin feel just moisturized. I love that it has clean good smelling ingredients! I actually use it for my whole body and have noticed my skin glowing! Heading into third trimester and buying another bottle!

The bottle came with a broken lid but in their credit they sent me a new one fairly quickly. There are only 4 simple natural ingredients so that is why I rate this product highly. I’m 35 weeks with no stretch marks so so far so good.
