Perfect for beginners
Amazing for beginners! This was my first ever cup and it was perfect. Used it for 3.5 years before upgrading to a larger cup. The grippys on the stem make it super easy to remove. Tried a cup from a different company that didn’t have them and the difference is crazy, will not be purchasing a cup that doesn’t have them again. The silicone is soft and it’s decently easy to adjust to the correct spot +comfortable to wear. Highly recommend.

Game changer.
First off, I am a 29 year old woman who has given birth once. I have been curious about menstrual cups for a while now and because I have bladder sensitivities post-birth, I decided to try this cup because of the sensitivity factor and because of all the positive reviews.I will say that this cup is a game changer. I used to dread my period every month because I have a heavy flow and would regularly bleed through tampons/leak and I was constantly feeling waterlogged down there and running to the toilet because the tampon would put pressure on my bladder. Since I have been using this cup, I haven’t leaked once. I don’t even feel the cup, and there is no pressure on my bladder. On top of that, I am saving SO much money since I am no longer buying tampons. For the first time in 19 years, I am having a positive experience during my period. If you are on the fence about buying this product, go for it. You will not regret it.I will say that there is a bit of a learning curve. But, after a couple cycles you will be a pro at inserting and removing the cup.I recommend buying cup cleanser and cup lube as well. If you are someone like me, who tends to dry out, lube helps with insertion a lot. The cleanser is nice because it’s a dedicated product that you can use with your cup, so you don’t need to use whatever you have around the house which may not be appropriate for your body.

Game Changer
If I could go back in time and only do one thing, it would be to tell myself to use this product. The one thing that kept me from going this route when I was younger was that I was insecure about touching anything down there. This product has not only made me feel more comfortable with my body. It has made my periods so much less of a burden.Pros:1. No more odor. I am absolutely shocked that after eight hours of working there is not the distinct smell that comes with pads or tampons.2. I only have to change it two times a day and that’s only if I’m having a heavy flow. Medium or light flow just once a day. Disclaimer is I do not wear anything at night because I do not bleed at night.3. It’s very comfortable.Cons:1. I still have a hard time comfortably, putting it in without needing to adjust. It is much easier to do in the shower like the instructions say.2. If for some strange reason you need to take it out in the middle of the day and you’re not home or in a private restroom some cleanup problems could arise.3. When I take the product out, I do have to clench down while pulling the end(this was a learning curve for me because there were multiple times when I clenched too hard, and it just flew out). The cons are all temporary, or abnormal instances. I think reviews speak for themselves. I will never be going back to anything else, but this. This product makes it so that the only problem you have during your period isn’t your period(Besides cramps, headaches, etc but it’s a step closer).

New user- honest review
Long time tampon user and at 42 I decided to try the cup for a variety of reasons including environmental, cost and the dreaded tampon shortage of 2022.So excited when this arrived. The instructions that came with the cup were adequate for insertion and care. The cup smells like fresh cut flowers. I boiled it as instructed.I decided to try it the first time overnight. I used the c-fold method which seemed most simple. I’ve only ever used tampons with applicators, so it took some trial and error, but got it inserted in a place that felt comfortable and went to bed.I woke up the next morning and lo and behold, no leaks overnight. After reading about how to remove the cup, I took myself into the bathroom and attempted an unsuccessful removal. My hobbit hands and cavernous vagina were no match for this cup, it seemed to have shifted further into the canal than I remember placing it. After half an hour of struggling and some hyperventilation and anxiety about whether I was going to end up having to ask my fiancée to dig it out, I did a YouTube search and watched this nice, young lady tell me all about how this is a common problem for the inexperienced cup user (any cup btw). She described the poop squat method of removal. Do not be alarmed though as she did not include any actual footage of the method in action.Anyway it worked, but my confidence and spirit were broken. Did I just spend $27 of my hard earned money on a cup that I cannot use? What kind of monster am I if I throw this away right now? Will it end up in the ocean, suffocating a great sea turtle or dolphin? Will Amazon allow me to return this if I explain how it didn’t work for my particular feminine anatomical structure? Should I try to sell it on eBay? So many thoughts ran through my mind at that moment. I rinsed it off, used a tampon and got ready for work.Later that night, I worked up the courage to try again. The next morning and every time since has been easier. The only “complaint” I have is that there does seem to be some vaginal wall irritation with insertion/extraction as the week progresses, but I don’t necessarily believe that is related specifically to this cup, nor that it would happen to everyone who used this method for management of menstruation. Otherwise it works well and being able to use it for 12 hours is convenient. The cup prevents leakage and odor formation, and the inventor should be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize for this reason alone.Overall I am very proud of my perseverance and determination in utilizing this cup. I have also learned through further research that some cup designs are better for some people than others and so if you are looking to make the switch, it may be a process of trial and error until you find the cup that works best for you.Good luck out there!
