Overall device concept is quite good, have some issues with this spinning up and stay up running but when it works it works good enough for kids. The remote works but needs to be pointed somewhat directly at it which isn’t a deal breaker. The machine itself has some weight to it and the size is perfect for smaller areas to play in. Overall when I can get it work it works well and really is pretty easy to setup. When this is actually running it’s totally worth it, but that will be part of the challenge.Overall price is good for such an innovative toy but it has to work! Recommended if you get it run with 100% ease.

Great concept, but issues with functionality
I got this jump rope machine for some family fun, and I really wanted to love it for its interactive features like lights, music, and adjustable speed. The idea of a counting jump rope with a remote is awesome for parent-child play.Sadly, the remote was defective upon unboxing this. The battery cover seemed upside down, wouldn’t hold the battery, and never stayed closed, making it unusable. Without the remote, turning it on is tricky since it starts spinning right away. Also, the power was very low, causing the arms to drag slowly on the ground, making the rope lag so much that it was impossible to jump. The arms also kept getting stuck on the ground no matter where I placed it. The sturdy base and durable plastic rope are nice, but these issues made it mostly unusable. Maybe I got a defective unit, but it didn’t work as expected.Further, all the instructions included with this are in a foreign language so I wasn’t able to read anything to even try and troubleshoot.
