The balls don’t get warm at all, even leaving it on for hours as stated for massaging. Great night light for a bedroom though. I love the length of the cord and the on/off switch has a nice dimmer for great ambiance lighting for those “special times”! 😉

I’ve been looking for a Himalayan Salt lamp for awhile. This looked lovely in the description, and is much more lovely once you have it plugged it and glowing. A few people have expressed concern about how the bulb is exposed under the balls, but unless you are truly careless the balls really don’t roll into it. The balls sit in a shallow bowl, so this should be placed in a stable location so it doesn’t get bumped and knock the balls out. If you have cold hands, or suffer from arthritis in your hands or fingers, you will enjoy holding the balls in your hands (once the lamp has warmed them up). If you want a nice night light, the dimmer switch on the lamp allows you to choose your level of light (or to turn it off completely). And finally … the price on this item is great. I saw identical lamps elsewhere for twice the cost.

Look beautiful! But the balls don’t warm, no matter how much time you let them in the lamp on. And the lamp and balls are melting. 🙁

The product arrived in a timely manner, with all included parts, and was functionally intact. It also comes with an extra light bulb, which is nice. The switch has tha capability to modify the light’s brightness/intensity, which is further appreciated.It is quite aesthetically complimentary in the display space intended and is the perfect size for where I’ve chosen to place it.It is too soon to tell if the salt lamp offers the environmental/wellness benefits it proclaims to, but I can update the review later to reflect that outcome, if necessary (in a reasonable timeframe). I have yet to use the orbs for massage.It is rather sound quality for the price; emitting a beautiful, warm, calming orange glow, and didn’t seem to heat up excessively during the initial use of it (which is a relief, given where I’ve put it). If this changes, I’ll reflect such (in any future updates). The light passes through all of the component pieces well and appears to be evenly diffused, thus far.This is great for personal use, to be given as a gift, or for usage in therapeutic settings.My only issue, was that the instructions were covered in an inordinate amount of little dead bugs of some sort. That was rather off-putting and unexpected. I would’ve taken a picture, but I just quickly threw it away, as insects (even dead ones) creep me out. 😳😱😟😒😖🥴😬

Just what I wanted
This lamp is high quality and love the massage stones. When the lamp is full bright the stones get warm which feel great on your skin when using them for massaging tight and stressed muscles. I have even used the stones for trigger point therapy. The glow is perfect for any room. We use ours in our “zen” room where we meditate and we also use it in our bedroom to produce positivity and relaxation therapy. Thank you!

Buyer Beware
I ordered this set during the Prime Day event. When I first opened the Amazon box, I was a bit confused as the image on product box was not for the lamp I ordered. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the packaging. The balls were wrapped in clear plastic nestled inside the bowl which as swaddled in bubble wrap with the entire multi-pound lamp seated atop part of the power cord. As I unwrapped the lamp, there were obvious chips in the rim of the bowl. I carefully pealed the plastic off of each ball, in total three of the five balls also have some form of chip to them. The bowl of the lamp was deep enough for four of the balls to sit situated around the exposed bulb with one ball on top. There is an adjustable switch for brightness however the lamp did not illuminate until the switch was turned to the highest setting. The light coming from the bowl was decently bright for a small space and provided a warm glow, which was only dulled by the dark gray patch on the bowl. I was unable to use more than five minutes due to a strange burning smell. I would not recommend ordering this product for oneself nor as a gift and will be returning this item as soon as possible.

I got my massage ball lamp in today and I love it! I know a lot of people were saying how the packaging was bad but I’m pretty sure they changed it because mine was amazing! The bowl was wrapped in thin white foam and then a cardboard cover around that, and the light in the bowl was protected by a cardboard cover as well, the balls were in a separate box packaged well, and I received 2 extra bulbs. the balls are just now starting to warm up after about 30min, I’m sure if I leave them for an hour or 2 they will be perfect! love the glow this gives off! very happy with my purchase!

This salt lamp is beautiful!, and what i love the most besides how it looks, is that you can use the salt balls for massages, the balls heat up nicely and is great for rolling onto any sore part of your body. i would DEFINATELY recommend this to people who know quality of a good salt lamp, and it has a dimmer also which is a nice feature.

I tried put in bedroom first but not turned out red orange warm color.more pink , doesn’t look best , but when I tried put in bathroom , wow , this is the romantic warm feeling I likes from salt lamp. It is heavy , so put low and stable instead flimsy shelf for safety reason , balls become warm then can use as. Massage ball which kinds of cute ideas , design special , mostly I like its warm romantic lights with unique design

I bought this for someone as a Christmas present. They loved it but I took away a star because I was really hoping the balls would heat up sufficiently from the light bulb alone but they don’t get warm enough for my liking! Really pretty though.

Yep, very good salt ! Can’t wait to offer to my next guests a bit of lamp to put on their mashed potatoes. (In all seriousness though, the lamp is awesome. The only thing I would add is a protection for the light bulb because you could break it with a ball quite easily.)
