True lavender scent and perfect size!
I ordered this because the cold weather is coming in and that means using heat in the home. My sinuses get so irritated if it gets too dry in the house, so I knew this would come in handy. Little did I know, my sinuses would be killing me the same day this arrived. I popped this baby in the microwave for one minute plus 15 seconds and it was the perfect temperature of moist heat. I folded it in half and was able to lay it from forehead to chin, nose poking out between the two sides, and covering my entire face. It was a sweet, lavender-scented pain reliever! My pain was instantly soothed.The scent is a bit strong right out of the package, but it does calm down after a little bit of airing and use. Not an issue for me, but it won’t be immediately usable on your face if you’re sensitive to smells. As stated in the title of my review, it is a true lavender scent, along with the scent of natural seeds/grains and the sweetness of chamomile. It’s very comforting and relaxing. The measurements advertised are accurate. The cover is easily removeable and very cute. I haven’t had to wash it yet, so I don’t know if it will fade or pill, but I really don’t care. The heating bag/pad is worth every penny and the asking price of $16.90 is a steal for what you’re getting and the sheer size of it.

Nice Scented Heating Pad
We use a lot of heating pads in this family. The non-electric ones are our favorite. Just a quick minute or two in the microwave (use 30 second intervals only), and you’re good to go.This pad is filled with natural materials and wonderful smelling plants as well. The lovely notes of lavender and mint are strong. The interior is filled with flaxseed, millet and corncob. Camomile is also mixed in, for its relaxing properties. The outer cover has a cute floral pattern, is sewn from cotton material and is washable. The interior bag is obviously not washable, as the organic filler cannot interact with water.This is a nice addition to our collection. It’s weighted just right for neck and shoulder therapy, is comforting to use on chilly evenings and is our go to when muscles need some TLC.

Nice and long with strong scent
I like that this heating pad is long enough to drape around my shoulders. It is, however, a little bit hard to heat up in the microwave as I keep having to fold it so it doesn’t touch the sides. I’ve also learned that it’s best to turn it over so both sides heat. It feels good, but unfortunately the heat doesn’t last long enough for me.

Every home should have – especially if you are prone to occasional aches and pains
Heat always feels good on a sore, achy back, neck, whatever. We have a heating pad, but it needs to be plugged in, and an outlet is not always convenient. I am also afraid of getting burned if I should fall asleep with a heating pad. This rice bag is a fantastic alternative. Just pop it in the microwave for a minute and you have some soothing, moist heat. You can use it anywhere; no outlets are needed. You do not have to worry about it getting hot and burning you. The weight is also very comforting when draping around your neck or shoulders. Good value for an item that every home should have – especially if you are prone to occasional aches and pains.

So relaxing
I have owned these types of herbal heating pads since my late teens. I have relied on them for aches and pains. I also use these with headaches, migraines, cramps or just to relax tight neck and shoulder muscles. This particular one reminds me of the ones had had years ago from an apothecary shop. The herbs used are the perfect smell to help me unwind and relax. It’s like a warm hug, just so comforting. I like this one is large enough to be used in multiple areas. I also like the individual chambers to keep the heat even. It’s so easy to heat up. Just pop it in the microwave and once it’s done you are good to go. I haven’t used this one for cold therapy and I don’t know that I will. I want to try to perserve the smell as long as possible. Just make sure not to over heat it as the microwave can burn holes in these. You can also burn yourself if you overheat the pad. Just remember after the 1st minute, it’s best to do smaller increments of time to warm it up more. I also like this cover is removable so I can wash it. I definitely wipp be buying more of these for myself and for gifts.

Smart design
I have several regular heating pads that you plug in…but I needed something portable that doesn’t require electricity to use. Came across this heating pad and had to give it a try. I absolutely love it! This heating pad can be used hot or cold, moist or dry heat, whatever you need at the time. The instructions are simple and easy to follow, You use the microwave or the freezer. The insert is designed very well, it has flower shaped stitching to prevent shifting. It also has a removable, washable cover which is very nice to have. I’ve used this heating pad a few times already and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend.

Easy to Use
This Heating Pad is very easy to use, simply heat in microwave, start with 1 minute then add 30 seconds at a time to get warmer. The heat lasts a good 20 minutes. The pretty purple floral cover fabric is soft and comfortable, I like that it can be removed and machine washed. It came with an instruction card for heating times and is also on a sewn in label. The pad itself has chambers so all the filling doesn’t shift to one end, it stays real even. It’s a good weight, not too heavy, just right to stay where you put it. It’s a good size, about 27″ x 5″ can be placed where your body needs it and since the fill is small it contours easily. The relaxing calming lavender scent is nice too, I am glad I ordered.

Lovely sent, war snuggly hug in a heating pad.
This pad is like a little weighted hug for your upper body, warm, snug, and with a soft lavender scent that says “spa night” even when you’re in pajamas eating ice-cream. It molds nicely around the neck + shoulders + upper back, and can also be chilled if you flip the mood. My only mild complaint: after a while the lavender aroma faded slightly. But for relief hot-or-cold and a bit of aromatherapy? Yes, I’ll keep using it. Tip: you can add some essential oils if the smell starts to fade but be sure not to overdo it (don’t ask how I know).
