Toasty
First off the manual does need a better troubleshooting portion. Upon plugging through unit in the led lights just kept blinking over and over again. Nothing in the manual states anything about this or what to do. I tried pulling the cable from the foot unit and rotating it thinking I had the connection backwards even though it does not have any labeling on which way was correct. Nothing changed just a continous blink finally I got irritated and unplugged everything and sat it aside. The wife then decided she could fix it and plug it back in and wouldn’t you guess it no blinks what so ever. Upon actually starting the heater it does give off a smell but the wife thinks it is just the heating elements giving off a smell in their first burn but I will state one side smells worse then the other. If you have larger feet then this or honestly most slip on items are never a great fit. My feet do fit in this but you can feel my toes are extremely snug and compressed but I do have a size 14 foot and I do not fault the product for a snug fit. My wife on the other hand fits in perfectly and it does get very warm it is a slow heat and you do not really notice even on high it getting that toasty until you take it off. Overall it works but isn’t great if the smell doesn’t go away the unit will be gone.

Very cozy and fits my big feet just fine
I don’t have central heating where I live, so I ordered this foot warmer to keep my feet cozy during the colder months. I’ve noticed that if my feet are warm, the rest of my body doesn’t feel as cold, so this felt like a worthwhile investment. It’s incredibly soft and the inside is lined with a fleece-like material. I have long, narrow feet and usually wear a women’s 11, but I had no trouble fitting comfortably inside the warmer. It was easy to use and heated up fairly quickly, and the heat distribution felt nicely balanced. I also like that it comes with a remote to adjust the temperature and that it automatically shuts off after about 120 minutes, though it worked well the whole time it was on. The fact that it’s machine washable is a big plus too, since nothing would be worse than a sweaty foot heater you can’t clean. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking to keep their feet toasty during colder weather.

Heats Up Quickly, Will Warm Your Feet For Up to 2 Hours Before Auto Shutoff
This heated electric foot warmer works quickly and heats up fast, as promised. The cord connector is right in the middle of the pad where you place your feet, which means that cord naturally rests between the user’s legs, which is a bit annoying. However, the cord is very robust, well-insulated, and the control unit is simple to use, with the choice of low – medium – high heat. There’s a built-in safety limit of 2 hrs before the heat turns off. I find low heat to be adequate for me, and medium heat for the first 5 minutes, if I want more heat. High is hot and too intense for my feet, but I can see how it would be great for those who really suffer with cold feet. Obviously mobility is limited while wearing this on one’s feet, so you want to make sure you’re positioned in a comfortable spot, near an electrical outlet. If you can put your feet up either on your couch or on an ottoman, that’s probably the best position. As for size of foot, I wear a size 7 women’s shoe and there’s plenty of room in the foot well. This product is machine washable (read the directions) with mild soap and a washer setting on delicate.

Heats fast
I found it surprisingly difficult to plug this into a standard wall outlet-it required more force than expected, and even then, it didn’t work correctly. All three lights kept flashing and wouldn’t turn off. I tried a different outlet and had the same issue with the plug fitting poorly.The unit also heats up quickly. The interior is soft, but I didn’t find it very comfortable because you can clearly feel the heating elements above and below your foot. On the positive side, the cord length is great, and I didn’t need an extension cord.One more thing to note: if you have larger ankles, this may not be the best choice. I have a little room left, but the fabric doesn’t stretch and it closes with a zipper.

Lower Quality for Price Point.
Took a bit to get heated up, and smelled a little stinky once warm.The slipper fabric is a low to mid-range quality. At this price point, I’d expected something a little nicer in terms of material. The inside of one of the slippers is a bit smaller than the other, making it feel like an awkward fit.The heating coils are right below your feet, so you can feel them in the warmer. It wasnt too hot, but not cushy, really. I had it on high heat and was a good temperature.The heated chemical/plastic smell is hard to get past, though. Maybe with use it will dissipate, but was pretty unpleasant.There is no off switch, you just have to hold any button for 3 seconds to turn it off. Again, at this price point, they could have maybe had a designated switch for off.
