It’s Cheap for a Reason
The assembly instructions are vague. There doesn’t seem a way for there to firmly attach the bike seat to the bike; if there is, the instructions don’t tell you, so when you’re riding the seat moves a lot, which made me nervous. It told me to use the wrench to adjust the seat once I had it at the desirable angle. Does it tell you where or how to use the wrench? Of course not.There was another part of the bike (don’t recall which) where you had to unscrew something first to attach it, so I unscrewed the black bolts under the bike seat to see if I could figure it out- turns out there are a few loose pieces under there, and it is borderline impossible to figure out how to reassemble them. The directions are, surprise surprise, absolutely zero help.Additionally, despite having utilized this bike for maybe an hour or two at the most, I’m already seeing evidence of metal damage on the seat’s underside, which could imply that it’s not attached properly. But how would I know? It’s not like the directions are giving me any clues.Additionally, the LCD monitor is almost entirely non-functional. I put the batteries in, it’s definitely on, and I’ve got the sensors and pulse plugs in, but does it actually keep track of my time, calories, speed, or anything else? Nope! May as well not even be riding the bike at all.I probably should have guessed from the obviously photo-shopped marketing images that this wouldn’t work out. Shame on me, won’t be making that mistake again.

I’m gonna give this a 3. That might be pushing it. It earned 3 because it was relatively easy to put together considering it was already 70% finished upon purchase. If you get confused with how to lock in the seat because it’s moving just don’t miss the black bolts under the seat. Those are meant to be tightened once you put the seat in the position you desire. But as a guy it’s extremely uncomfortable. The seat doesn’t feel right at all and I can’t use the bike without feeling uncomfortable.

Easy setup, but not so easy to use
Let me start off by saying I bought this because I’m trying to get healthy and maybe lose some weight. I feel this bike will help, but not as intended. Getting on this bike is an absolute nightmare. I have no idea what body type this was made for, but the pedals are set so far back that even with the seat all the way up it’s extremely difficult to reach them. The good news is, like I said, it should help me lose weight, but only because I feel completely exhausted just trying to get into position that I’m drenched in sweat after fifteen minutes of wasted effort.I want my money back, but I’m terrified that if I ask they’ll tell me to break down the bike and mail it back. It was a mostly easy setup, but I also burned calories putting it together. Assembly went smoother after I figured out all the hardware is already on every piece. It was mostly unscrewing and nuts and bolts and then putting them back on after aligning pieces.Back on the topic of ease of use, maybe this is a better option for someone who’s already fit, but if you have a high bmi you should probably look elsewhere. The low price seems too good to be true because it is. Spend actual money somewhere else.
