Good Inexpensive Meal Replacement
Needed something easy to take with me to work everyday out in the field when I go help people sign up for no cost solar panels, and when I’m at my weekend security job where I only have 30 minutes for a break. These are nice quick satisfying meal replacements that taste good, easy to carry, effective at keeping the hunger away for a few hours. Good enough ingredients if you don’t mind milk based protein. The fiber is slight, but good enough to move the bowels. However, definitely drink one glass of water with each one of these to help your kidneys clear all the protein. Kidney stones are no fun and a simple glass of water with each will easily prevent any cloggage. Are these the best proteing drinks, nope, but if you’re one step away from the food pantry line, these are fantastic budget savers. You simply can’t beat the price!

I purchased these Carnation Breakfast Essentials High Protein with Fiber drinks for my husband, who leaves for work very early in the morning. They’ve been a game changer for his routine — quick to grab on the way out the door and much more filling than just coffee alone.The Rich Milk Chocolate flavor is his favorite because it actually tastes like chocolate milk, not overly sweet or chalky like some other protein drinks. Each carton has a good balance of protein, fiber, and vitamins to keep him satisfied until lunchtime.We keep a few in the fridge for busy mornings, and they’re also great for travel or long workdays. They taste best chilled, but he’s fine drinking them at room temperature too.Overall, these are convenient and surprisingly delicious. Definitely worth keeping on hand for anyone with a hectic schedule who still wants something balanced to start the day.

Healthy, high calorie, and very tasty.
This drink is great! I discovered it during cancer treatments when I wasn’t able to swallow solid food due to intense radiation to my neck. I really needed something I could not only drink, but provide nutrition and much needed calories as I had lost a lot of weight. I had tried other nutrition drinks but they were very unhealthy. This product is very healthy, high calorie, and very tasty. I’m two years out from my last treatments and still drink this. It’s great when I’m busy and don’t have time to make a breakfast or lunch. I use a BlendJet, add milk, peanut butter, and sometimes half a banana and I get all the nutrition I need for that mealtime. I Highly recommend this product!

I have not tried other flavors of this yet but I’m a diabetic and a lot of times I do not eat breakfast a lot of times in the morning I get low blood sugar this for me is nutritious that’s like eating breakfast and it helps with your blood sugar doesn’t make it skyrocket it just gets it into a safe zone for me I’m not telling other people to use it for that they have products for that but they are so expensive I can get a case of these they will last me a month and they’re delicious you drink one ice cold like you you just thought you had a chocolate milk I have actually put one in a blender with ice cubes and made a milkshake out of it it was delicious but have bought again and will continue to buy until glucerna or boost or any of those other ones lower their prices I can get a case of this for the price of a six pack of glucerna that’s crazy

Most cost effective solution for putting nutrients in your body
As someone who only likes eating when it’s actually something special, I usually grab two cases of this stuff at the start of every month. One of these with a cup of high protein yogurt or a packet of oatmeal will keep you going without too much hassle.They taste like chocolate milk (or maybe pudding mix before it goes in the fridge), they don’t upset your stomach, and they’re decent even at room temperature, not that they *need* to be refrigerated, but they *are* more pleasant that way.I used to get diet shakes for this purpose (hate eating, but can’t take meds on an empty stomach), but those are usually padded out with insoluble fiber to make you feel full and weird chemical shit that I can’t be bothered to research, and therefore don’t really want to put inside of my body. Plus, protein shakes are very pricy, while these come out to a little over a dollar each, making them fall cleanly into the category of “you can afford this on EBT and not run out of money and starve near the end of the month.”Oof…Anyways, yeah, even for more… neurotypical people, let’s say, these are pretty convenient just to have around, even if it’s just for the purposes of needing to eat something with a painkiller so you don’t wreck your stomach.
