There is NOTHING wrong with this journal. I love it. No mod, no mold smell, no corroded lock. The cover is awesome. The deckle pages are antiques looking and just perfect. Well done!

Good, but came with water damage
One of the grommets in the front cover has rusted, and the rust has bled into the pages and has dyed the majority of them. In addition there is a damp mildew-y smell to it. Still love it, and as I’m turning it into a junk journal, I don’t mind the smell or rust stain. Still, one star removed for lack of quality assurance and poor storage methods.

Beautiful book. I love the design and the texture. The pages are so soft and dreamy to write on. It is very thick though. so it is a wonderful gift but not great for traveling light.

The picture is beautiful, but like others have stated, that’s not how this notebook was received. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. The pages were moist and moldy, the metal clasp was oxidized and turned green. There was a mildew-y odor to the book. I instantly issued a return and don’t recommend taking the chance and buying this.

It’s gorgeous, I love the old timey look and feel of it. I really love the clasp too, feels sturdier somehow with it. I haven’t used it yet, it’s so pretty I want to save it for the perfect use, until then it looks perfect on my desk so in addition to being practical it’s also a gorgeous ornament of sorts.

This item arrives to me with black mould. Looks like a nice item but the clasp was rusting and there was mould everywhere. Put it straight into a bag and can’t touch it. Obviously been wet and still sent out. No quality control.
