Bambody Absorbent Boy Short, Period Underwear for Women and Teens – Protective – Soft, Comfortable, Breathable

Excellent product for incontinence and/or heavy periods!
I bought these in boy short style for a male roommate that has urinary incontinence due to no feeling in his pelvis. He is a young adult and was wearing pads and I noticed he still had a urine smell all the time.I remembered this brand was great for my periods (when I had them – I no longer do) so I bought him a set as a gift to try.He was reluctant to the idea because it said they were for girls/women, but the boy short style looks very masculine and the logo on the band is very neutral as well. He loves these and they absolutely do the job. It has really helped his confidence, feeling protected from accidents.They are expensive, but still less expensive than the other original brands. I personally feel these are very much worth the investment and just need to be taken care of properly to make sure they stay effective.These are made from bamboo fabric, so they are super soft and have protection layer from top of front, to top of back-side (waistband to waistband).I highly recommend for both periods or incontinence. The other styles are feminine and I believe they come in different colors as well. I really love this brand! Soft, comfy reliable protection without feeling like you are wearing a diaper or pad.

Worth the price! Comfy, great for periods, and post-partem, and sleeping in general
These boy shorts are super comfy!I used them at first for periods, and it’s so nice not having to worry about blood leaking on the bed, or on clothes, etc.I have also used them when hiking in order to help reduce chafing…and it absorbed some of my sweat 😆Most recently they have been great for post-partum. They hold the ice packs and all that jazz in place well, they also are way less bulky than using those gigantic pads !Slightly annoying to change them a lot, but you don’t need to change as often after the 1’st week, and I didn’t feel like a waddling duck 24/7. …Also, saved my sheets and clothes once again from blood/ fluids sneaking out.All that TMI to say…GET THEM!

have tried every brand, every style – this is the best
I have spent more money than I would like to admit on trying different brands and styles of period panties to see what would work for me, my heavy flow, and the tendency for my disc to leak (the cora disc, which self empties when going to the bathroom is a godsend when paired with Bambody).Overall, the boyshorts by Bambody exceed in these areas where other brands fail:1. Leak Protection – Likely because of the style of the boyshort, I have never experienced any leakage outside of the underwear as I have with other styles. Bambody bikini style still wins over other brands for leakage, though I still have to be extra cautious when wearing bikini style as well. Not with boyshorts! The absorbant bits also extend in all the places you need, and you won’t find yourself with a back stain in the middle of the night.2. Smell – It doesn’t matter how often you change them out and wash them – sometimes they start to get that “pad” smell. IYKYK. It’s not particularly a bad smell but it’s not a great one either – Bambody is the only period panty brand where I experience this the least. It’s not perfect – but brands like Thinx will straight up stink after the first day of use after several months of use (with regular washings in between of course)3. Capacity – I buy the max capacity of all period panties. Boyshort Bambody is by far the best. I have a particularly heavy flow, which is why I pair my Cora disc with period panties – I need the extra protection. And when I feel that stomach dropping “gush” it no longer sends me rushing to the bathroom to make sure it’s all clear and clean – I know the panties can take it and I’ll stay mess free outside of them! That being said, I am not entirely sure how they would hold up if it was the only period protection you are using. I’d say if you have a pretty light to medium period they would hold up just fine. I suggest buying multiple capacities and seeing what works best for you. Unfortunately with the period panty technology world, trial and error is the best route.4. Comfort – Other brands like Thinx feel pretty bulky and feels as if I am wearing a diaper. Bambody, both the bikini style and boyshort style – is relatively thin, especially when considering the capacity they can hold. The boyshorts are so comfortable I almost want to buy some for my non-period days too.5. Longterm Durability – Thinx and other brands (that I can’t think of the name of right now) are all on their way to the trash the moment I buy more Bambody backups to replace them. They don’t hold up, they stink overtime, and just all around feel gross and bulky. Bamabody feels like I just bought it even months later!Overall, Bambody, and particularly the boyshort style, is the way to go!

Satisfied with product
Bought for sleeping to help prevent leaking on to bed. And am very satisfied with the amount it holds. They’re soft and comfortable like typical boxers just with a thick center but nothing super noticeable as far as how it feels. I wish I would have bought a longer pair with a different band. That’s just a preference because I bloat a lot and they do ride up while sleeping.
