I read a lot of reviews and was a bit skeptical about the product but had to try it as my back & neck can cause me a lot of pain. I had a little trouble at first, as I didn’t think the control worked well. I think my problem was that I just rushed through everything without reading instructions. When I slowed down it seemed to work well even though I was expecting it to stop working any minute, due to other reviews. It’s been over a year and a half and still works perfectly, but if it died tomorrow, it’s been worth it! It has been the biggest relief to me!! It’s like a big warm hug that covers from my shoulders down past my waste in back. It is the largest heat product I’ve ever had, as I don’t use electric blankets. Prior to this, I had used microwave things that I’d have to move around to get just right. This does all that for me. it covers across shoulders and just keeps you warm too! I usually put it from 115 – 130 and is very easy to adjust quickly. I hope it continues to work for a long time, because it is the best treatment for my back also totally relaxing. I highly recommend this product!! Especially love it in the winter!!

I love the weight and size of this heating pad. I use it every night. It has auto timer and several heat settings, I usually don’t go past 7. Only caveat, it can’t be thrown in the washer. That’s probably why my last one quit working.

….yall…say it ain’t so BUT all the reviews that you see showing codes and the heating pad no longer working are in fact very true!! Don’t pass go…skip the line…the rumors are true! I purchased this heating pad at the end of June and got it in July. It worked soooo well at first. Nice and comfy! But recently my heating pad started showing the error codes E1 & E5. I have to lay very still and not move for the heating pad to stay on and heated. I reached out to Ambershine twice, no response and then I reached out to Amazon who put me in touch with the seller. I explained to them the very issues that were happening and said I wanted to get this replaced under warranty, and they had all of the nerve to respond back to me saying we’ve determined that your heating pad line was damaged due to improper use by folding the heating pad, but that never happened. The lies! The absolute NERVE. There are 2 problem codes, E1 and E5, neither of which (according to the manual) fall under the same thing. So how sway??? How do you figure “I” damaged the line?? I’m asking the real questions here. The reviews show several of these same issues with the buyers. So we ALL damaged our lines from improper use?! Very very unlikely. Absolutely not. I should have known better than to order from them due to all the reviews and I honestly just assumed that perhaps they all got faulty heating pads and I was special because mine had been working up until now. The way I was quickly humbled 😊. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Huge mistake. The pad will work initially but won’t work for long. It is truly just a crappy product. I only purchased this one because the heating pad that we’ve had literally since I was a child started giving out, mind you I’m in my 30s now. But that’s also coming from a time when stuff was made with quality products. Just look elsewhere. Don’t run the risk of being satisfied to begin with just to feel disappointed in the end. Pretty red color though. It heats up really quickly and nice and warm. The cord is nice and long too and the longest it’ll stay on is 2 hours which is perfect. The numerous heat settings is a huge plus. But not having it replaced is an issue. There are bigger issues of course, but in my response I promised them an honest review…it would behoove me to disappoint 😉. That’s all.

— Comfortable and Weighted, But Not Hot Enough
I really like this heating pad — the weighted design helps it stay in place and gives that soothing, comforting feel on sore muscles. The material is super soft and it heats up quickly. My only complaint is that it doesn’t get quite as hot as I’d prefer, even on the highest setting. It’s great for gentle warmth and relaxation, but if you like really intense heat, this one might feel a little mild. Overall though, it’s cozy and well-made!

Works well. Had still joints and it covered my neck and half back. You can lower it to fill your whole back.
