I purchased the cards for a team retreat for a group of therapists. The cards were a fun and great way to promote self-care for those whose job is to care the most. The team loved the messages and the feedback was great. The cards are pretty and very inexpensive. Love the scratch off coin that is included in the kit. Will definitely be checking out more products.

This review is for the Self-Care Scratch Cards: Wellness & Mindfulness Kit | 52-Week Scratch-Off Cards for Relaxation, Reflection, Affirmation, and Positive Habits | Gift Box for Women from SHINE SPARKLE SLAY.As someone who’s had 10+ years of therapy for a severe mental illness I know how important self-care is for your health and wellness. Unfortunately as a 24/7 caregiver for a bedridden mom self-care tends to be one of those things that’s often easier said than done. This deck of cards makes it doable and provide a tangible reminder to just do it.These are nice cards on good cardstock with clean and vivid graphics. They come in a cute box that has a magnetic closure. A small metal heart token is included to for scratching, a very nice touch. There are 52 cards in the deck, one for each week or whatever interval works for you. I decided one a week was something I could accomplish. The tasks are all manageable so far. The photos above are the first two cards I scratched. Both are activities that almost anyone could do in just a few minutes each day or think about and work on all week. These cards are small enough they can be kept on your mirror, refrigerator or bulletin board so you see it frequently during the day. This helped me because with my ADD out of sight is almost immediately out of mind!I’m really enjoying these cards. I look forward to my weekly scratch session and doing these little things for myself is a little jolt of self-love every time I see the card. There are four decks of these Essence scratch cards available currently, each with a slightly different focus. They are Essence of: Self-Care, Affirmations, Gratitude and Mental Health. I will definitely be buying more of these decks for myself and as gifts.At the time of this review these were priced at $20 per deck which is a pittance for a years worth of jiy and self-love. I highly recommend!!!

Great Quality and Value
This is a great gift for your girls or any other friends or family who are or want to be more invested in themselves. I gave this (along with some other self care items) to a friend after she had a baby, and she said it was one of the most thoughtful gifts she has ever received. The cards are very good quality and look very nice. It’s also a good value for the price, and I will definitely buy this for more gifts in the future.

This is a nice deck. I am a little confused by the scratch-off theme, but the cards are usable after scratching off the coating. I think it is to show that you can “start anywhere” with mindfulness. I don’t necessarily think it is a negative thing, it is just different. The box is a very sturdy and durable cardboard with a magnetic closure. This makes having the deck on a desktop or shelf practical for easy access. The cards are good quality stock and have a matte finish, making them a bit difficult to separate from one another. I like that the intention is to use one card a week, as it encourages the user to seek out the experience suggested over multiple days rather than just once and then something new the next day. That is typically how I use mindfulness cards, but it is not evident to everyone to do so. The suggestions are significant, yet easy enough to accomplish for most people. I believe that using these in conjunction with journaling will be helpful to most. I am happy to have these and also happy to recommend them.
